Ozarks' History is not that distant for some of us.
It's in our lifetime, and true repentance can make a difference.
From the beginning of 1984 through the start of Autumn, the Marion County, Arkansas, militia & cult known as the Covenant, the Sword, and the Arm of the Lord (CSA) was in the headlines locally. By the Spring of 1985, the CSA was receiving national & international attention. The CSA, as it was locally known, was an organization which was labeled as a survivalist group. The CSA occupied a 224-acre area in far northwestern portion of Marion County, near Oakland, Arkansas, on the Arkansas/Missouri border since the late 1970s. Except for occasional attention brought on it by media from outside the region, the CSA lived in relative obscurity.
The CSA developed from a Baptist congregation, and they were locally known as the Zarephath-Horeb Community Church, which was founded in 1971 in Pontiac, Missouri. By the Summer of 1978, the church became radicalized. The CSA veered into unusual theology for the Ozark's region as it strengthened its White Identity or Superior Aryan Doctrine, in addition to its Plurality in Marriage. They believed they were soldiers & a haven for the coming End-Time & Tribulation Period, and they were planning for planning for Armageddon.
The CSA event came to an apex in April of 1985. More than 300 officers reportedly participated in the 1985 standoff and raid.
Today, the CSA Compound acreage has been divided up, and the main base is private property. Last Fall, in 2022, I met a new friend, and we took an adventure to visit & walk the former CSA compound.
The Baxter County Library has the Bob Ketchum Video Archive. Within the collection lie some wonderful historical nuggets. TV43 program with news reporter Susan Ketchum interviewing CSA Elder, Kerry Noble, on April 24, 1985.
It is full-length, unedited & fascinating.

There are also a few stories on the CSA in Thelma Spencer's biography of former Ozark County Sheriff, Herman Pierce, Sheriff Takes the Stand. It is currently out of print.

CSA Founder, Jim Ellison, died March 27th, 2021, at 11:15 from congestive heart failure at the age of 80 years.
Kerry Noble was a true representation of what repentance can do. While in prison, he began to see the error of his way, and he began to sound the alarm for others not to follow the path of White Supremacy. Kerry Noble wrote about his experiences in Tabernacle of Hate: Seduction into Right-Wing Extremism & Tabernacle of Hope: Bridging Your Darkened Past Toward a Brighter Future.
Kerry Noble passed away earlier this year on January 9, 2023.
According to Kerry's oldest child, Tara, he went, …into the hospital December 29, 2022, with pneumonia. He had a massive heart attack the morning before he was to have an angioplasty procedure done. Thank you for your prayers for the family.
With all the judgment & condemnation we can throw at one party or person, we should pause to look at our own hearts. In retrospect, sometimes we never realize the wooded path & journey our neighbor travels in a lifetime.
Love is quick to forgive & restore.
Kerry Noble passed from this life January 9, 2023.
Rest in Peace, Kerry Noble.

Praia do Perigoso + Pedra da Tartaruga, Paraíso escondido no Rio de Janeiro-Brasil
A praia do perigoso é uma das 5 Praias Selvagens de Barra de Guaratiba.
Com acesso somente por trilha ou barco, o lugar é magníficamente preservado e sem muita aglomeração. Um paraíso dentro da capital Carioca.
Aos pés da Praia do Perigoso, encontrasse a Pedra da Tartaruga, uma lindíssima formação rochosa no topo de uma montanha em formato de tartaruga e com uma vista de tirar o fôlego. O acesso a cabeça da tartaruga se dá por uma pequena trilha de terra ingrime. A pedra é muito frequentada pelos amantes da prática de rapel.
Como chegar:
De carro: Ir do Recreio dos Bandeirantes sentido Barra de Guaratiba até a praia (pode ir por dentro ou margeando o mar até a Praia do Grumari e em seguida suba e desça a serrinha até Barra de Guaratiba).
Há alguns estacionamentos no local e com preço médio R$ 30,00 a diária até às 19hs.
De ônibus: Pegue um ônibus que faça ponto final na Praia de Guaratiba.
Na Praia de Barra de Guaratiba, caminhe até o final da pequena orla e suba à ladeira. Se mantenha à esquerda até o topo (subida asfaltada e extremamente ingreme) em meio as residências, lá em cima vire a esquerda e siga até o início da trilha (identificada pela placa da Trilha Transcarioca), entrando em uma pequena viela, uns 100mts à frente, inicia a trilha de terra.
Grau de Dificuldade: moderado
Tempo de Trilha: De 40 minutos à 1 hora.
Dicas:
-Use tênis e boné
-Aplique bastante repelente (os mosquitos atacam pra valer)
- Leve água e lanches leves, pois não há infraestrutura na praia (lembre-se que é uma praia selvagem)
-Abuse das fotos, pois o local é um paraíso
-Para sua segurança, retorne com pelo menos 01 hora antes do pôr do sol, pois a trilha tem trechos escorregadios e rochosos e a luz do sol será fundamental para retornar em segurança.
-Näo há salva vidas no local.
-Sem sinal de internet

Пункты нашего маршрута по Испании (и, соответственно, названия будущих фильмов): Valencia, Miramar, Simat de la Valldigna, Gandia, Parc Natural de l'Albufera de Valencia, Xalo, El Castell de Guadalest, Altea, El faro de L’Albir, Puerto Campomanes-Grenwich, Храм Архангела Михаила (Altea), Calp, Denia, Torre del Gerro, Cova Tallada, Cap de Sant Antoni, Montgo Verd (садоводческий магазин), Panorama Isla del Portixol, Moraira, Cuenca (Castilla-La Mancha), Castillo de Consuegra (Castilla-La Mancha).
За неделю мы проехали более 2000 км, прошли пешком более 100 км! Мной снято более 4500 видео-сюжетов и сделано (смартфоном) 1500 фотографий! Впереди большая работа по монтажу более 20 фильмов!
Не уходите далеко!

Поездка в Валенсию, в октябре 2019 г., была во многом уникальная для нас с Аллой и, соответственно, фильм будет в новом формате!
Во-первых, мы поехали не просто так, а по приглашению наших зрителей из Испании – Вадима и Светланы;
Во-вторых, Алла «сложила с себя обязанности» штурмана и мы в этом вопросе полностью доверились принимающей стороне. Наш маршрут планировался и осуществлялся благодаря Светлане (Вадим был в служебной командировке). Мы смотрели (а я снимал фильм) те места Валенсии, что нравились нашим зрителям!
В-третьих, в фильме практически не будет видео-сюжетов о городах, музеях и Храмах! Ну, только если совсем немного: прогуляемся по столице региона – Валенсии и городу Куэнка (автономное сообщество Кастилия — Ла-Манча). А большую часть нашего времени мы посвятили неспешным прогулкам по холмам и горам, панорамным площадкам красивых заливов.
В-четвертых, Светлана настоятельно потребовала от нас попробовать все основные блюда и вино Валенсии! Пришлось, а что нам делать оставалось! В будущем фильме мы обязательно расскажем Вам об этой стороне жизни испанцев. Обычно, возвращаясь из напряженного путешествия, мы с Аллой теряем многие килограммы веса… Например, вернувшись из двух-недельного путешествия по Сицилии я не досчитался примерно 12 кг… А вернувшись из Валенсии, мы с Аллой обнаружили прибавку аж 2-х кг…
Ну и, в-пятых, мы открываем новую рублику или новую серию фильмов «В гостях у нашего зрителя»! Уверен, что таких фильмов будет много! Уже сейчас у меня есть более десяти приглашений в разные регионы России и страны Мира!
Скоро, во всех смартфонах-ТВ-ПК Мира – новый фильм! Не уходите далеко, мои дорогие зрители!
