2021 catamarans: Seawind 1370 - HULLS MOLDS ARRIVED!
This week, we got one of the most exciting delivery of 2021: Seawind 1370 HULLS MOLDS!
In July 2020, our newest 45ft catamaran model was introduced and we have been working towards every steps to have the first boat completed. The boat is built to deliver a perfect balance between performance and liveaboard cruising comfort. And so, designed to reel off long ocean miles at ease, she is featured as 2021's most exciting new catamarans launches.

We have landed at the HH factory and I don’t think I have ever been more excited, nervous, and overwhelmed. Because we are about to see our new catamaran for the very first time. Ok, it’s probably the same emotions I felt on the day we signed the boat build contract but somehow it feels different.
It’s been almost a year since we sold Curiosity in New Zealand and began the build of Curiosity 2. And when we purchased, the HH44 was little more than a concept with a few digital renderings. They hadn’t even started building the molds yet. But it ticked all the boxes we really wanted in a boat.
In concept, it was as close to “the perfect boat” as we could imagine. Because HH would be building it from the ground up with strength, performance, and self-reliance in mind. There’s no way any retrofit we could ever do would be nearly as good...right?!
But it’s no longer a concept, it’s a real boat and I can't help myself, I have a lot of expectations. So yes, I am excited but I am also nervous.

We've lived off the grid for over 10 years now in everything from a Van to RV to a Sailboat. And over time we have learned a lot about renewable energy, creating safe drinking water, and managing our waste.

Building The Perfect Catamaran: From Dream To REALITY! Ruby Rose 2 November Update!!
Ruby Rose 2. November Update!!! Two years ago we set out to build our perfect Catamaran. A tough but luxurious bluewater Catamaran. Easily handled by a couple and able to circumnavigate. The Seawind 1370 was a design on a drawing board. In partnership with Seawind Catamarans we added 57 features that we wanted in a catamaran and they produced the MOST AMAZING BOAT. Now that boat is in production and we are so, so excited to see her in the flesh.

► Seawind, based first in Australia and then in Vietnam is well-known in the 35 to 42-foot market with almost 800 catamarans built. The relatively traditional design of the models has been upturned by the arrival of the Seawind 1600, a much more modern boat. The 1370 drives the point home with very similar lines. Much lighter than most of her competitors, she is intended to be more powerful while being able to accept a large payload. The design is very contemporary with strongly inverted bows - a break with the smaller models. Announced in July 2020, this long-awaited new model has just been launched.
