He Found Freedom in the Desert ????????

As far out as one can get in the continental United States is a place tethered to nothing other than the open skies, dramatic landscapes, and a deep feeling of freedom. Removed from the stresses and restraints of the cities is a community living by their own rules. Today, we meet up with a local character named Will, who shows us what living out here is like in rural Utah and why he can't imagine it any other way.

In 2017 we left home with just £500 in our bank account and a dream to make a sustainable travel lifestyle happen! We are now living our dream as digital nomads and want to inspire you to create your own story, whatever it may be!

After 5 years of aimless, yet enjoyable, backpacking around the world we found ourselves in New York City battling with depression. At this point, we decided to go home and confront this problem head-on. After 6 tough months at home we decided to go away again, but this time with a goal in mind.. to turn travel into a lifestyle.

Our time spent battling depression has influenced our outlook on life dramatically! We are now traveling the world in search of what makes us happy. In our vlogs, we talk openly and honestly about our travel experiences, the digital nomad life and depression. We hope our videos can help to inspire you to create a life that makes you happy!

There's Violence New York's Biggest Migrant Camp (#178)

I've been traveling the world almost nonstop for the last 3 years, and while I was doing that, the world began to come to my hometown. In a crisis unlike any the city had seen before, New York began to receive hundreds of thousands of migrants who had crossed the US border illegally from Mexico. The US media machine ran stories nonstop on the topic, trying to drum up anger between my fellow citizens (as always).

People told me I should come back and see what was going on. Most of the migrants came from places I was now very familiar with: Latin America, Africa, and China. Maybe I could offer a unique perspective by looking for the migrants and seeing what they had to say. Or at the very least, it'd be more useful than what you'd find on Fox News and CNN.

Join me on a trip to Randall's Island to find the city's largest migrant camp, and also the neighborhoods the migrants would move to afterward. Let's go.

Best of the Road - Santa Fe - Maria's New Mexican Kitchen

Santa Fe, New Mexico is a 2012 Rand McNally / USA Today Best of the Road finalist in the Best of Food category. On July 5th Road Bros Brian Cox and Mike Shubic visited Maria's New Mexican Kitchen to get a primer on tequila and margaritas, and sample some traditional Northern New Mexico cuisine.

New Mexico Green chile vs. Red chile - New Mexican Food cuisine

In this CNN iReport video the Salsa Twins talk about their passion on growing up loving food. Their grandmother, Josephine Chavez Griggs coined the term New Mexican Food.

Our Grandmother taught us and New Mexico to love New Mexican Food, said the El Pinto Salsa Twins.

Chris Morrow note: If you are wondering how to buy green chile salsa - Check out the salsa section of your grocery store or you can order online directly from the El Pinto Restaurant and Salsa Company.

A love affair with food and engineering from the age of 3, the Salsa Twins (Jim & John Thomas) turned a Albuquerque, New Mexico destination restaurant into a nationwide sensation bottling their red and green chile salsa called El Pinto Salsa.

New Mexican cuisine is humble cuisine using basic ingredients. What makes El Pinto particularly unique is that we still serve the traditional recipes of our grandmother, Josephine Chavez Griggs. Our goal is to ensure the salsa, green chile, and red chile is made to perfection like our grandmother would expect. Jim Thomas

New Mexico is Beautiful | Allie Knight

Even if it was pretty rainy and kind of stormy. New Mexico doesn't fail to deliver on the sights.

Allie Knight drives a big rig all over the lower 48 states. Spend time on the roads of the United States with this weird chick from Boston and her ridiculous cat, Spike. Everyday is a little different filmed in glorious 1080p at 60 frames per second.

KYD Special: Riding Bikes from Michigan to Florida

ℹ️ About the Episode:
All in all, this bike ride from Michigan to Florida started from the idea that doing something hard is worthwhile ... and it was. There were certainly moments of suffering, given the cold front that came through the midwest in mid-October—alongside injuries, crashes, map malfunctions, and angry country-road dogs! The ride turned out to be 1,341 miles from New Buffalo, Michigan, to Perdido Key, Florida. And not all of it was suffering. As we had suspected, we had plenty of experiences with generous, supportive, and genuine people who bought us meals without any prompting. They just picked up on what we were doing and wanted to show us out-of-towners some hospitality. Good people doing nice things—we come across these kinds of people all the time, but being in the RV makes us a bit more isolated than we are on a bike, so this adventure really showcased the generous spirit of Americans. The riders included Marc, Caleb, and our friend Bill. (The ride was Bill's idea, by the way.) And the whole thing probably would not have been possible—and certainly would not have been enjoyable—without the support of Trish and Wendi, aka Team SAG.
