Thailand Crocodile Farm - The most DANGEROUS job in the world?

Thailand Crocodile Farm - The most DANGEROUS job in the world?
Youtube HD Video Phuket, Thailand 2014 - Just an update how dangerous this job really is.

Follow me on Twitter

Crocodiles (subfamily Crocodylinae) or true crocodiles are large aquatic reptiles that live throughout the tropics in Africa, Asia, the Americas and Australia. Crocodylinae, all of whose members are considered true crocodiles, is classified as a biological subfamily. A broader sense of the term crocodile, Crocodylidae that includes Tomistoma, is not used in this article. The term crocodile here applies only to the species within the subfamily of Crocodylinae. The term is sometimes used even more loosely to include all extant members of the order Crocodilia, which includes Tomistoma, the alligators and caimans (family Alligatoridae), the gharials (family Gavialidae), and all other living and fossil Crocodylomorpha.

Although they appear to be similar to the untrained eye, crocodiles, alligators and the gharial belong to separate biological families. The gharial having a narrow snout is easier to distinguish, while morphological differences are more difficult to spot in crocodiles and alligators. The most obvious external differences are visible in the head with crocodiles having narrower and longer heads, with a more V-shaped than a U-shaped snout compared to alligators and caimans. Another obvious trait is the upper and lower jaws of the crocodiles are the same width, and teeth in the lower jaw fall along the edge or outside the upper jaw when the mouth is closed; therefore all teeth are visible unlike an alligator; which possesses small depressions in the upper jaw where the lower teeth fit into. Also when the crocodile's mouth is closed, the large fourth tooth in the lower jaw fits into a constriction in the upper jaw. For hard-to-distinguish specimens, the protruding tooth is the most reliable feature to define the family that the species belongs to.[1] Crocodiles have more webbing on the toes of the hind feet and can better tolerate saltwater due to specialized salt glands for filtering out salt, which are present but non-functioning in alligators. Another trait that separates crocodiles from other crocodilians is their much higher levels of aggression.

Koh Kood Island - SEA SNAIL SASHIMI + Best Beaches and Attractions | Food Travel Guide!

Day 8 (Koh Kood เกาะกูด, also spelled Ko Kood or Koh Kut): Eastern Thailand Food and Travel Tour. Watch all 8 videos here:

This is Day 8 of my Eastern Thailand food and travel series. Our final destination was the island of Koh Kood (เกาะกูด), and one of the best islands and most beautiful in Thailand. From the water to the beaches, to the jungle, you’ll be in awe.

How to get to Koh Kood? We took the Boonsiri Ferry - 1,000 THB ($31.75) per person round-trip. It takes about 1.5 hours to get there.

On this one day guide of food and travel in Koh Kood (เกาะกูด), we hired a pickup truck to drive us around (Private vehicle - 2,000 THB ($63.50) whole day) to some of the famous sites, beaches, and restaurants. It was an amazing day.

The Sunshine Resort Koh Kood at Ao Phrao Beach (อ่าวพร้าว) - This is where we stayed for the first few nights in Koh Kood. A very nice relaxing quiet place.

Khao Saleun (ข้าวสะลื่น) - It doesn’t really have a name, but this small rice and curry restaurant serves great food in Koh Kood.
Mushroom curry (แกงเห็ดเสม็ด)
Chicken curry (แกงไก่บ้าน)
Total price - 100 THB ($3.17)

Old Tree 1
Old Tree 2

Klong Chao Waterfall (น้ำตกคลองเจ้า) - There are a number of tropical waterfalls on Koh Kood, and we went to Klong Chao, because of its big pool of water. It did start raining, but it was still fun.

Khao Reua Rub (เขาเรือรบ) - This is a shrine and there’s not much to see, but it’s interesting.

Bang Bao Beach (บางเบ้า) - This is one of the best beaches in Koh Kood and in Thailand. Crystal clear bathtub water.

Ao Yai Fisherman Village (บ้านอ่าวใหญ่) - One of the things I wanted to do most in Koh Kood was visit a fishing village to eat seafood. The village is great, and well worth checking out and exploring when you’re in Koh Kood.

Chonthicha Restaurant (ร้านชลธิชา) - There are a few different seafood restaurants, but we chose this one.
Squid with garlic (ปลามึกทอดกระเทียม)
Murex sashimi (หอยเงาะ)
Hoy pawk pad prik pao (หอยพอกผัดพริกเผา)
Shrimp pineapple curry (แกงคั่วสับปะรด)
Fried slipper lobster (กั้งกระดานทอดกระเทียม)
Total price - 1,360 THB ($43.18)

The most unique dish of the meal was Murex sashimi (หอยเงาะ), in Thai it’s called a Rambutan Shell, after the fruit.

Koh Kood (เกาะกูด) is the type of island where you can go to your resort and just not move, and that is great. But there are also some amazing things to do when you’re there as well, and I hope this video gives you some great ideas. Thank you for watching!

Japan Trip 2017 - Kanazawa (Conveyor belt sushi, Kenroku-en Gardens & shiba dog)

Kanazawa was one of those cities where I had no expectations at all. I went completely blind in exploring it. They say these kind of experiences are usually the best ones, and I completely agree with that statement after visiting Kanazawa!

It is a more cultural and artistic city. The first thing you notice when you enter the city is the variety of sculptures, statues and interesting looking buildings. It is a very rich looking city. With that said though, some locals told me the city has some dead areas, and that can be explained by the fact that they're putting most of their money towards the reconstruction of Kanazawa castle, which I do visit and cover in the video.

The first thing I did was go to Soku's guest house. He has a very cute shiba japanese dog called Gao! It was probably the best place I've stayed at yet! He also had a Super Famicom game system with many Japanese games I've never seen before! Who needs a SNES Classic when you get the real deal?

For diner, after looking at the prices of one of the best sushi restaurants in the city (and saying heck nooo! to myself), I went to eat at another conveyor belt restaurant, Mori Mori sushi. While I was waiting in line to actually enter the restaurant, I talked to a mother with her two children and she told me it was one of the best and cheapest places to eat sushi. According to her, there aren't a lot of conveyor belt restaurants in Japan, believe it or not! This is why there are always lineups. She also said that the delicious season for sushi is usually in winter, but it was still delicious and fresh anyways!

When I visited, it was a national holiday, so almost nobody was out! In the many districts I've visited, barely anyone was there. The first district was Higashiyama Higashi Chaya district. It is known for its geisha tea ceremonies that only happen at night. The second was Nishi Chaya district. For the same reason, you need to reserve and I obviously didn't do that!

The third and final district is Nagamachi Chaya district, also known as the old ninja district. Remains of houses of old lords can be found there. It is also in this district that you can find the Ninja Temple! No photos inside! Trust me when I say this though, they show you all the secret and hidden paths that you could find in the temple and more! They were so sneaky!

Speaking of art, I visited the beautiful Kenroku-en gardens close to Kanazawa castle. Kanazawa castle was huge! The castle parks were also huge, but so empty. It's crazy to think emperors lived in these things at the time! The castle itself is very different from Matsumoto's. It has a lot of length, and its purpose was to be able to see invaders from afar and move from one gate to the other to escape faster if needed. You could seal off invaders on one side!

Finally, there is the Omi-cho market close to Takayama station. It's kind of like Nakano Broadway, but with a speciality in selling food!

Overall, I enjoyed my visit to Kanazawa. The people seemed a lot nicer than other places and the food was very good.

Enjoy!
