This is Episode 002 of our Nassau Bahamas series and is a detailed guide of a walking tour to see some of the most popular free sites in Nassau.
This video highlights the path you take from the cruise port as well as some of the sights and shopping options along the way. The planned walk is only 3.6 miles (1.1km) and takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The revised walking tour is 2.7 miles and 55 minutes long. On the walking tour you get to see the sights and sounds of Nassau and can enjoy local food, entertainment and history.

A popular cruise-ship stop, the city has a hilly landscape and is known for beaches as well as its offshore coral reefs, popular for diving and snorkeling. It retains many of its typical pastel-colored British colonial buildings, like the pink-hued Government House.
