Malawi's Hidden Wildlife Reserve & Mzuzu Gems #malawi #travelvlog
Join us as we journey to the northern region of Malawi! Famous for its rolling hills and beautiful scenery. We start off by visiting what can be considered the capital of the north: Mzuzu.
Mzuzu town is quiet and quaint with gems like Macondo Camp boasting different accommodation options ranging in price. We paid 55,000 MWK (~$55) for an en-suite room for the night (no breakfast included). The restaurant here has a fantastic Italian menu. Even if not staying here you must come for lunch or dinner! You can find them on Instagram or Facebook.
Then we head further north into Rumphi district boma and pass by the Vwaza Wildlife Reserve (or Vwaza Marsh). One of Malawi's beautiful but less often visited wildlife reserves. It's extremely basic but perhaps that's what makes it magical. It's only $10 per night to sleep here in a chalet (plus park & vehicle costs). Find out more using this number: +265 995198153

I became a pig famer for a day and we're out feeding pigs in Malawi, Africa ... and 'boy' do they need a feed after not being fed for two weeks!
First we went to the mill to buy some kaka, not what your thinking! It's pig feed, then we found some transport to take us to the farm ... after getting passed the police checks we soon arrived at our destination!
Watch as we have some fun on the farm ... no modern farming technology here!

Join me as I journey in Malawi, Africa. Taking a close-up walk into their roadside stalls and markets is in itself an unbelievable experience!
Surprisingly cooling as I visited closer to their Winter season. Many Malawians walking many kilometres distance from one village to the next, carrying food on their heads.
Mzuzu market for example is a bustling place with many people gathered to sell all their wares.
An amazing and blessed experience to be able to have a genuine look at how many africans like them live their lives.

Road trip from Lilongwe to Mzuzu Malawi 300 plus Kilometers drive|| Fun trip with my girlfriends. This was a long trip but fun. Lots of great views because of the mountains though most of the roads are narrow and with lots of corners.
