Last year I made a video called My 3 Scariest Travel Stories, and I've decided to do a sequel because I've been in many scary situations since then which often go undocumented...

In this video, I tell you about 3 more terrifying stories that have happened to me in Afghanistan, Yemen and Libya.

Please note that these stories are based 100% off my own personal travel experiences. I DO NOT hate these countries -- in fact, it's just the opposite. When you travel to every country in the world, you're often going to be put in situations like these, and I feel like it's appropriate to share them with you.

What's your scariest travel story? Please share in the comments below!

While I constantly try to find the positives in every place I visit, there are few places that I just simply didn't enjoy.

The country of Brunei is one of them.

I went to Brunei back in 2014, three years before I made videos, but my negative experiences in the country have stuck in my mind ever since. That, combined with its absurd human rights laws such as stoning to death LGBT members, I was pushed to make this video.

Have you ever visited any countries that you didn't enjoy? Please share below, I'm curious to know.

Backlash from Indians After Marrying My Indian Wife

Some Indians are angry because I married an Indian woman. One man left an abusive comment on my father-in-law's Facebook post of our wedding photos! He wasn't happy that an Indian girl was marrying outside of her culture to a foreigner. See how my father-in-law replied and Manisha and I's reaction to this hater.

See all the joy and drama from our very nontraditional Indian marriage:

You can follow Manisha Malik on YouTube too, she makes videos about Indian fashion @Manisha Malik.

2 WEEKS IN SYRIA ????????(not what you'd expect!)

THE WAIT IS OVER AND I'M BEYOND EXCITED TO TELL YOU ABOUT THE LAST 2 WEEKS OF MY LIFE IN SYRIA - COUNTRY #183!

It was honestly the most inspiring and life-changing trip I've taken so far. I am so overwhelmed by the amazing people who welcomed me here -- you won't believe the stories that I'm about to share with you.

Ever since war began in Syria 2011, the media has ripped this country into pieces (not surprisingly) -- so I am going to do my best to show you the positive sides about Syrian people, culture, food and general life -- because trust me, there are A LOT of positives that are yet to be exposed to the outside world.

Can you guys sense how excited I am as I type this right now? It's unbelievable what I am feeling right now.

This first video is somewhat of an overview of everything I did in Syria. You can consider it as a 'teaser' for what's to come. I will be uploading daily videos as usual, but please note they will be delayed 14 days as I decided not to post live for safety reasons and so I could fully enjoy the trip without feeling pressure to upload.

I HOPE YOU ENJOY THESE SYRIA VIDEOS and please comment below with thoughts/comments/opinions about travel in Syria and I'll do my best to get back to you.

This man won't leave you alone! ????????

■ SRI LANKA, HAPUTALE: After unsuccessfully trying to find something that looked edible and unlikely to make for a troublesome return bus journey to Ella, I opted for the safety of a Snickers and Mars bar. With my newfound sugar high it was time to check out the local Haputale market.

Perched high on a cliff side adjacent to the train station, this market offers stunningly high views and correspondingly low prices. A rare combination. So just how cheap is this market and what do they sell here? Why is the Yes Man of Haputale following me? And did I manage to escape the Yes Man of Sri Lanka in the end?

Picture Excursion into Space - a Talk by Gary in US and ZheYou in China

What is it about?
Explorers have set out for thousands of years to new lands, with new methods of transportation, for new discoveries.
From the first hot-air-balloon flight in 1783 carrying a duck, a sheep, and a cockerel to today's competition in the billionaires race to space, we watch with great interest where men and women go into the great beyond.
The first manned hot air balloon flight took place in Paris in 1783, but China has been experimenting with hot air technology for more than two thousand years, with the first documented tests performed as early as the 3rd century BCE.
Zheyou (Neil) in Shanghai, China and Gary at the Space Coast in Florida will be presenting a program on August 29th called A Picture Excursion into Space. It will document mankind's efforts to reach higher above the earth and further with planned journeys to the moon, Mars, and beyond.
Who is telling the story?
ZheYou is 11 and Gary is 80, both of whom are amateurs in the subject, and both are continually fascinated with space exploration.
Gary Liljegren lives at the space coast in Florida, USA. He is a geek, a photographer, and a radio ham. Since talking to the world as a young teenager through his passion for ham radio, he has never stopped his curiosity about animals, stories, and people of the world.
ZheYou is graduating from primary school and will be going to secondary school this year. Living in Shanghai, China, he likes food, ham radio, playing flute and piano. His dream is to become an aerospace engineer.
