I Survived a Fatal Bus Crash in India (full story)

In today's video, I tell you my craziest travel story in full detail. 6 years ago, I was in a fatal bus crash in India during my 3-month solo backpacking adventure across the country. It happened to me when I was en route from Udaipur to Jodhpur in the Rajasthan state. I was the only foreigner on the bus, and the only English speaker. The bus crashed around 1AM local time, in the middle of nowhere. It was the only time that I had to put my hand over my pulse to see if my heart was still beating. 2 people did not make it out alive. I get anxiety just thinking about what happened.
I do not hate India - I have had some incredible experiences around the country. The bus crash could have happened to me in any place, but unfortunately it happened in India. I am happy that I made it out alive and thankful to continue traveling.

I thought I was going to die, but I came back to a pair of dirty men’s underwear and an empty pack of cigarettes, instead. Here’s my story from one of the scariest nights of my life. If you are a fellow traveler or are ever looking for a place to camp for the weekend, avoid Blue Springs campground in Youngstown, FL.

I don't often talk about the negatives of travel, because there is so much positivity to share! But truth be told, life of a full time traveler is not always rainbows and ponies. Not at all.
In this video, I open up to you a bit and share why AIRPORTS are the most stressful part of the travel experience for me. Airports are the main driver for my severe anxiety -- because of all the immigration questions, checkpoints, police encounters -- while trying to hide my identity as a YouTuber. Because believe it or not, being a YouTuber (i.e. Journalist) is frowned upon in MANY countries around the world.
