Oleander Farms in Karjat is a luxury weekend getaway from Mumbai and in our opinion it is the coolest farmstead ever because of all the things you can do here . This place is not too far from Mumbai making it a perfect destination for weekend travel from Mumbai and specially in the monsoons this place looks beautiful with all the streams and lakes around the 180 acres property and the lush greens you can witness here are surreal.

????Matheran is one of the smallest hill stations in India. It is located on the Western Ghats range at an elevation of around 800 m (2,625 feet) above sea level.
Sharing details of post February lockdown of 2022.
I started my Journey from Mumbai which truly began from Neral station.
It's a very beginner friendly trek, the locals are very supportive and kind.
In my vlog I am focusing on sharing my experience which includes view, journey and lots of nomnoms :p

Matheran is a hill station which is super close to Mumbai and is very convenient to reach, so we thought of taking a 2 day vacation to simply get away from the city life. Bhavish and I explored a few points such as echo point and ate by Charlotte lake. The sunsets were breat-taking and the nostalgic game activities reminded me of my school days. The place is actually located in the Western Ghats that ranges in an elevation of around 800 meters above sea level. The place always has pleasant weather to enjoy during any time of the year, but its beauty gets added up during the season of rain and thunderstorm.
HOW TO REACH:
The closest railhead to Matheran is in Neral (21 kilometers). You can get on the Deccan Express from Mumbai or the Sahyadri Express from Pune; both ply every day. From Neral you will have to go to Aman Lodge by road, which is a 30-minute journey. From there you will get Toy Train.

Matheran || Weekend Trip || Mumbai Diaries started || Kilometre Diaries
Matheran is a 7sq km hill station in Maharastra.
And the most amazing thing about Matheran is that power vehicles are a no no there.
The nearest railway station is Neral Railway Station. From Neral Railway Station there are 2 options to go to Matheran, one is a toy train, but it was non-operational due to covid restrictions & resuming soon as per localites.
and the 2nd option is cabs. Cabs take Rs 100 per person to drop till Dasturi Point.The entry ticket is Rs 50 per person.
From Dasturi point onwards vehicles are not allowed, from there it's a small walk to Aman Lodge point and from there we can get a toy train , a horse , a hand pull rickshaw, or by walk.
1st class train ticket is Rs 305 per person
general train ticket is Rs 45 per person
Horse ride to the market area is Rs 400 per person & they also have packages for day tour , 8 point tour , 6 point tour and so on.
