Lahore to Multan via Motorways M2 M3 M4 Uncut Video Entry to Exit | Best Motorway Video in Pakistan
Pakistan has developed a web of motorways in Pakistan since 1992. First motorway was M2 between provincial capital Lahore to Capital of Pakistan Islamabad. After that M1 between Peshawar and Islamabad. Then M4 between Faisalabad and Multan and M3 between Multan and Lahore. Another Multan and Sukkur motorway M5 is completed. M9 is a Karachi bypass and M9 between Karachi and Hyderabad. Hyderabad Sukkur motorway will pave path between Islamabad Lahore and Karachi.
Here in this video we drove between Lahore and Multan using M2 then M3 and last M4 motorways to reach Vihari road of Multan while we started from Thokar Niaz Beg terminal of ex M2 and now part of Lahore Ring Road as well. This is an uncut video with all terminals and took almost 3 hours and 30 minutes to reach Multan. Speed limit was 120km/hr for Cars and LTV. No part is cut in this video. There is a windstorm at the end of this video from which we passed and speed was a bit slow. Mostly we were at top speed during this journey.

The distance between Lahore to Multan is calculated to facilitate travelers as South end of M-3 Motorway doesn't provide exits/ entry to any District or Divisional Headquarter directly. For that purpose it merges with M-4 Motorway (Pindi Bhattian- Faisalabad- Multan Motorway) and the first Divisional Headquarter nearest to South end is Multan.
Lahore to Abdul Hakeem section (M-3 Motorway) = 230 km
Multan-Abdul Hakeem section (M-4 Motorway) = 103 km
Total Distance, Lahore to Multan, on M-3 + M-4 = 333 km.
The stretch of M-4 Motorway from Abdul Hakeem to Multan is built up with 4 lanes.
This is more than the previous distance of 323 km on National Highway N5, but the average driving speed was significantly less there. The speed allowed on this motorway is 120 km/h for L.T.V. & 110 km/h for H.T.V. So the time taken for traveling is significantly reduced as compared to N-5.
Exits/Entry for Multan City
M-4 motorway's passes through the South of Multan city and there are 4 interchanges for Multan city:
1. Shamkot (Khanewal/ N-5) Interchange (Northeast or East of Multan): Khanewal, E-5 Expressway; Multan city & DHA Multan.
2. Shah Rukn-e-Alam/ Makhdoom Rasheed Interchange (South of Multan): Vehari; Multan City Lari Adda (Buses Stands & Truck Stands).
3. Shah Shams Tabrez (Bahawalpur Road/ N-5) Interchange (South of Multan): Bahawalpur & Lodhran; BCG Chowk Multan, MIKD, Multan.
4. Sher Shah Interchange (South of Multan): continues as M-5 Motorway (Multan to Sukkur Motorway) & giving exits to Shujabaad; Multan Cantt; Muzaffargarh, D.G. Khan, Sakhi Sarwar, Rakhi Gaj, Fort Munro, Loralai, Qila Saif-ullah & Quetta.
M-3/M-4 Junction
At Abdul Hakeem (Darkhana) M3 Motorway joins with the somewhat parallel M4 Motorway (Pindi Bhattian- Faisalabad- Multan Motorway) in a Y junction form. Analyzing Y when heading North from Multan (Khanewal/ Shamkot), the base/ long arm of Y represents Motorway (M4) coming from Multan, while the left arm of Y represents Motorway (M4 continuation) going towards Faisalabad, Pindi Bhattian & subsequently M4 Motorway merging with M2 Motorway (Lahore Islamabad Motorway) for way up to Islamabad & Peshawar (M1 Motorway). The right arm of Y shows the Motorway going towards Lahore (start of M3 Motorway).

Distance from Lahore to Multan:
Lahore till Abdul Hakeem Interchange: 230 km

Lahore Multan Motorway is a six lane road with three rest areas. It was inaugurated on 30th March 2019 and was accessible to traffic starting 1st April 2019.

Here is a video travel via motorway m3 from Lahore Pakistan to Abdul Hakeem Punjab Pakistan. M3 is a link between M2 to M4 motorway and also called as Lahore Multan motorway which is in part of Lahore Karachi motorway systems.
The high definition HD 1080 video of whole length of motorway m3. There are multiple government vehicles, some protocol vehicles and lot of people are over speeding, police is hardly seen anywhere. No challan or speed cameras whole length of motorway.
My vehicle speed is between 100km/hr to 120km/hr maximum. All vehicle abruptly overtaking are actually overspeeding.
People of Pakistan feel proud of overspeeding and tell proudly to people that they reached earlier than required time on roads. Protocol is thought to be another thing to be proud of and having a government vehicle gives advantage and proud.
