This is why you should not visit Turkey in August!
Turkey is an amazing country and should be on everyone’s bucket list. But Turkey in August is probably worst. Why?
1. Crowded - August is high season and everyone flocks to this country to spend the summer which makes in incredibly crowded. Long queues, long wait times and just people are everywhere.
2. Hot - August is also peak summer which makes it super hot to travel. Between 2pm and 5pm, the is scorching hot and it’s difficult to enjoy with that heat.
3. Expensive - Again due to high season, the prices go up 2, 3 or even 4 times the normal prices and you cannot bargain anywhere.
Instead, shoulder seasons are better times to visit the country when all these three things are not that bad.
