Bequia - St Vincent & The Grenadines - Paradise instead of Death in Paradise
Bequia really delivered that paradise tropical island experience we wanted from a Caribbean cruise.
Its a tender point and the tender drops you in Port Elizabeth. Most visitors will take the pretty walkway to Princess Margaret Beach. This is a glorious beach but does get busy. The town of Port Elizabeth is fun to explore with its many bars and cafes. There is also a pleasant walk up to Fort Hamilton which provides spectacular views across the bay.
Our day in the paradise place was topped off with an excursion sailing to more remote spots on the island aboard the Schooner Scaramouche. This was great fun and we were taken to remote spots for some snorkelling and swimming.
Couldnt get enough of this place - Truly beautiful.

We continue our ramblings to Bequia Island in the Grenadines. Just off the mainland of St. Vincent and accessible by Ferry for a mere $45 EC for a round trip ticket (about $17ISD) you can head out to Bequia and frolic on Princess Margaret Beach. The trail to get to the beach is short and the views are stunning!!!!

Petite Nevis & Friendship Bay, Bequia ????⛵️
We arrived at Petite Nevis, a little uninhabited island off the south of Bequia.
The island was beautiful and secluded, there was one other yacht there and the water was beautiful. We headed to land and after we decided that the dingy landing wouldn’t be great for our hard bottom dingy, we had denver drop us off while we went to explore.
The island is beautiful and untouched. There is a man old whaling station that is apparently not used anymore. The snorkelling between where we anchored and the shore was beautiful, there were tons of fish and coral.
We headed across the Friendship Bay in Bequia which is also on the north east coast of Bequia. It was a quiet and beautiful little bay.
As soon as we stepped onshore it immediately felt so different from the rest of the islands we had been to. The colours of the houses, the abundance of different coloured flowers that lined the streets and the goats that were chilling under the trees gave friendship bay a beautifully quaint feeling.
We explored around the bay for a few days but when the swell started turning easterly we decided the anchorage was getting quite rolly and we headed out to the main anchorage of Bequia - Admiralty Bay .

Brilliant Coral & Healthy Sealife With Dive Bequia in SVG
- During our trip through the Grenadines I was lucky enough to team up with Dive Bequia and they showed me some great dive sites around Bequia Island. We saw a ton of fish and corals as well as some Moray Eels swimming around in the open. What made these dives memorable was the incredibly vibrant reef system. Check it out!

Drone footage of one of the prettiest harbors in the Caribbean. Admiralty Bay Bequia. Port Elizabeth is nestled deep in the bay and a must visit on any trip to the windward islands. This bay is home to a bustling commercial port, ferries and freighters come and go all day long. The commercial traffic is in stark contrast to the pristine beaches, crystal clear water, vibrant coral reefs that decorate Admiralty Bay.
