2019 May 11 Derby Model Railway Exhibition Part 2
Back to the superb Derby Model Railway Exhibition, which I've not attended for a couple of years, but which is very local to me. Hosted by the Mickleover Model Railway Group, this is always an excellent show. It is held in a unique railway heritage location, the Derby Roundhouse, the world's oldest roundhouse building.

33rd Cardiff Model Railway Exhibition 19/10/2019.
Today, I was invited to video the 33rd Cardiff Model Railway Exhibition by Graham Tierney the Show's organiser.
This is a major event Cardiff's Annual Model Railway Calendar. with a varied selection of layouts covering many Gauges. It was also supported many Retailers who had travelled from all over the UK.
It's also open tomorrow Sunday the 20th of October 2019, so why not come along and have a great day out.
Mrs M and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting many Friends at the show.
2019 Mar 31 Sheffield Model Railway Enthusiasts Exhibition
Once more to another local show. A first for me this time, the Sheffield Model Railway Enthusiasts 2019 Exhibition, held at the Birkdale School Sheffield. Slightly bigger exhibition than recently, hence the slightly longer video, hopefully capturing the best of the exhibition.

Pontypridd Model Railway Club, Annual Show 27/04/2019
With Storm 'Hannah' crossing over Wales today, I travelled up to the above show held at Llantwit Fardre Community Centre to cover it for Tony Holloway, the show organiser..
Once again, for s small show, there were some excellent layouts on display in various gauges and sizes.
Mere & District Model Railway Exhibition Saturday Held On 5th & Sunday 16th June 2019 (Part 1)
Once again I had great pleasure in attending the Mere & District Model Railway Exhibition which was held on Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th June 2019 at the Mere Lecture Halls.What can I say, yet again the standard of the exhibits was amazing. Four award winning layouts are included in the ten on show. Heart felt thanks to all exhibitors and to the organisers, well done!!

Wimborne Model Railway Show 2019 Featuring Bournemouth West A Fine 00 Gauge Layout..
I was able to pay a brief visit to WIMRAIL 2019 which was hosted by the Wimborne Railway Society and held at Queen Elizabeth's School on 16th & 17th March. This is a great exhibition with a fantastic collection of model railway layouts. I decided just to focus on one this being Bournemouth West which is just an amazing example of what can be done.....

Pendon Museum Model Railways in the Landscape Exhibition Visit 2019

Footage from a visit to Pendon Museum Autumn 2019. Pendon is located in Oxfordshire UK and comprises 3 main area-
* The Vale Scene - a masive landscape based in the vale of the White Horse with highly detailed / realistic buildings, railways, people & wildlife
* The Dartmoor Scene - with trains crossing the iconic Brunel timber viaduct and passing along the sea wall
* Madder Valley Railway - the first fully scenic model railway and dating from the 1930’s
The footage was taken during a visit with the protective glass screens lowered to allow easier photography.

Cardiff (Small) Model Railway Show 26/01/2019
Today I was asked to cover the Cardiff Small Model Railway Show, held at Pontcanna in Cardiff. It was another superb show, and drew large crowds of visitors despite the heavy Rain. A big thank you to Brian Rolley for the invite, and it was wonderful to meet, Jeremy Segrott, Martin Mathers, Fred Lewis and many more fellow enthusiasts.
