Inside Mexico's Craziest Market ????????

We are taking a ride to Mexico's craziest market, la merced. Most locals will tell you not to go the merced market in Mexico City and even some Mexican locals don't go there themselves. It's one of Mexico's most important markets however were thousands of goods and foods pass through. You will see it all in this market, Mexican food, bootlegged goods, and the most exotic beer I have ever had. People say it's dangerous, don't go there with a camera, watch your pockets but to be honest I met some of the friendliest people ever. Join me as we take a walk through Mexico's craziest market ... or so they say.

Inside Mexico’s Craziest Market - WE WERE SHOCKED! (our first time in Mexico City) | CDMX, Mexico

We’ve made it to Mexico City! In this video, we are experiencing the market culture in Mexico City (CDMX). We started at, La Merced Market, which is one of the largest and most vibrant markets in Mexico City (CDMX). La Merced can be a bit overwhelming at first, with its labyrinthine streets and endless rows of stalls and vendors. But it's all part of the experience, and we quickly got swept up in the excitement and energy of the place. The market is a true feast for the senses, with the smells, sounds, and colors of Mexico all around you.

We then visited Mercado Sonora, which is a vibrant and bustling market located right next to La Merced. You can find a wide variety of products, from traditional Mexican crafts and souvenirs to exotic herbs, spices, and potions used in traditional folk medicine.

After visiting Mercado Sonora, we continued our exploration of Mexico City by checking out some local establishments. We stopped at a pulqueria, which is a traditional Mexican bar that specializes in pulque, a fermented beverage made from the sap of the agave plant. Next, we visited a cantina, which is another type of traditional Mexican bar. Finally, we took a leisurely stroll around the old town of Mexico City, soaking up the rich history and vibrant culture of the area.

Don't miss this incredible tour with Bondabu in CDMX:

Mexico City's CRAZIEST Market ????????

Today we are exploring Mexico's craziest market, La Merced in Mexico City, Mexico. Most locals in CDMX will tell you not to go to this mercado in Mexico City and even some Mexican locals don't go there themselves. It's one of Mexico's most important markets however were thousands of goods and foods pass through. Some people say this area in Mexico City is not Safe for tourists. When it comes to Mexico City and its safety we have felt very comfortable in CDMX. And just like every city in Mexico, we always seem to see the friendliest locals.

This Mexico City Market was one of the highlights of our Mexico Trip in 2022. We will be trying plenty of Mexican Street food, as well as showing you around this extremely hectic market that has so much to offer! Today’s Mexico travel vlog is the BEST guide to our favorite market in Mexico! If you’re traveling in Mexico put La Merced in Mexico City on the list! You’re not going to want to miss this Mexico travel vlog!

People warned us about going to La Merced. They told us not to visit MEXICO'S CRAZIEST MARKET. We were warned that we may get lost in the maze. Our friends were concerned that the number of people could overwhelm us. We were cautioned that we may even get run over by a car. But we decided to accept this challenge. Because we LOVE markets. And we had to see this place for ourselves.

Inside Americas biggest Street Market in Mexico City

In this travel vlog, I am inside Americas biggest street market in Mexico city. I have never seen a street market this big before. Mexico city is huge city and many people live in the biggest city of America. But the street market Mercado de Meced is like a small town inside Mexico City. I also tried local mexican food in Mexico City, like tacos and soup.

Guadalajara Mexico Fake Market Spree ????????

I'm taking you guys to mercado libertad or better known as mercado San Juan de Dios in Guadalajara Mexico. We are going on a bargain spree trying to get the best prices in the market. They sell it all here from fake sports jerseys to fake shoes like Nike, Jordan, Gucci etc. They also sell many typical and local foods here which we will explore on this Mexican market hunt. This is Mexico's largest indoor market. Guadalajara is Mexico's second largest city so it makes sense they have one of the biggest markets in Mexico. I had trouble filming on the top floor where the majority of the knockoff goods are at since some vloggers took it to another level posting comparison videos of the goods which seem to get the patrones mad so I backed off and respected their wishes. Enjoy the fake market spree vlog in Guadalajara Mexico. Viva Mexico

Inside a Huge Mexican Market ????????

This is the second country I travel in Latin America. I had been always scared to visit Mexico because of media and my parents mostly, after a little research I found that I can maybe travel to Mexico's Safest City: Oaxaca.

Now, I am absolutely in love with Mexico! I eat all kinds of tacos and fried bugs and feel at home. I am constantly surrounded by nice people that go above and beyond to welcome my stay. Locals here are amazing people. They show foreigners a new level of hospitality.

In this video, I visit Latin America's one of the biggest indigenous markets, Mercado Tlacolula. It is one of Mexico's craziest markets because you can find here literally anything to eat..

Mexico's Thieves Market ????????

■ MEXICO CITY: I've gone shopping in some wild markets in my day. From the Haputale market in Sri Lanka where the Yes Man would not leave me alone, to Cusco's central market in Peru and Mumbai's Dharavi slum. Iv'e seen it all.... or so I thought. Coz never have I seen a a market like the one I stumbled upon today in the centre of Mexico City.

Sprawled out in a traffic intersection which is very much open for cars and motorbikes at all times, this market has everything from counterfeit perfumes to face-masks, dumbells and a live mariachi band.

But that isn't what makes it the most entertaining market in the world. The fact that it can all vanish in the span of 20 seconds is responsible for that.....

ULTIMATE SOUVENIR SHOPPING IN MEXICO CITY - BAZAAR SABADO (SATURDAY ART MARKET, + EL CARDENAL)

The Saturday Bazaar in the San Angel neighborhood of Mexico City, was recommended by all of our friends from the area - and none of the tourist blogs we read, so we knew it was going to be a wonderful, authentic experience. We were blown away by the size and talent displayed here! We have already decided we will have to make the trip back when we purchase a house one day. We highly recommend visiting here to support local artists, and buy something unique and memorable to cherish for a lifetime. Next we made our way (for the fourth time) to El Cardenal, Mexico City's BEST brunch spot (in our opinion), the hot chocolate there is life changing, the bread and natas are the perfect start to any day, and lastly we tried something very new to us, ant egg tacos! Best place to buy souvenirs in Mexico City!

Inside the EXOTIC MEAT MARKET: Mexico City's Most UNIQUE Food Experience! | Mexico Travel Vlog

In this video, I'll take you to the Mercado de San Juan, or San Juan Market, known for it's selection of gourmet foods and exotic meats. Here you can find rare delicacies like lion burgers, ostrich eggs, and chocolate-covered cockroaches, among MANY other bizarre food choices. It should definitely be a stop on your Mexican food tour of CDMX, but be warned, it is not for the faint of heart!

*I apologize for the framing/closeup during Round 1: Bug Platter of Death. We had to share the table with not one, but two, very large tarantula aquariums. Not even joking.

There are actually a few markets of the same name, as well as an exotic meat wholesaler, so be sure to go to the correct San Juan Market:

Would you be able to eat lion or tiger? What about a platter of insects? Let me know in the comments below, or tell me your weirdest food experience!
