Uzbekistan has an area of 447,400 square kilometres (172,700 sq mi). It is the 56th largest country in the world by area and the 42nd by population.[23] Among the CIS countries, it is the 4th largest by area and the 2nd largest by population.
Uzbekistan lies between latitudes 37° and 46° N, and longitudes 56° and 74° E. It stretches 1,425 kilometres (885 mi) from west to east and 930 kilometres (580 mi) from north to south. Bordering Kazakhstan and the Aral Sea to the north and northwest, Turkmenistan to the southwest, Tajikistan to the southeast, and Kyrgyzstan to the northeast, Uzbekistan is one of the largest Central Asian states and the only Central Asian state to border all the other four. Uzbekistan also shares a short border (less than 150 km or 93 mi) with Afghanistan to the south.
Uzbekistan is a dry, landlocked country. It is one of two doubly landlocked countries in the world (that is, a country completely surrounded by landlocked countries), the other being Liechtenstein. In addition, due to its location within a series of endorheic basins, none of its rivers lead to the sea. Less than 10% of its territory is intensively cultivated irrigated land in river valleys and oases. The rest is vast desert (Kyzyl Kum) and mountains.
The highest point in Uzbekistan is the Khazret Sultan, at 4,643 metres (15,233 ft) above sea level, in the southern part of the Gissar Range in Surkhandarya Province, on the border with Tajikistan, just northwest of Dushanbe (formerly called Peak of the 22nd Congress of the Communist Party).
The climate in Uzbekistan is continental, with little precipitation expected annually (100–200 millimetres, or 3.9–7.9 inches). The average summer high temperature tends to be 40 °C (104 °F), while the average winter low temperature is around −23 °C (−9 °F).

Turkmenistan Turkmen: Türkmenistan,formerly known as Turkmenia, is a country in Central Asia, bordered by Kazakhstan to the northwest, Uzbekistan to the north and east, Afghanistan to the southeast, Iran to the south and southwest, and the Caspian Sea to the west. Ashgabat is the capital and largest city. The population of the country is 5.6 million, the lowest of the Central Asian republics.
Turkmenistan has been at the crossroads of civilizations for centuries. In medieval times, Merv was one of the great cities of the Islamic world and an important stop on the Silk Road, a caravan route used for trade with China until the mid-15th century. Annexed by the Russian Empire in 1881, Turkmenistan later figured prominently in the anti-Bolshevik movement in Central Asia. In 1925, Turkmenistan became a constituent republic of the Soviet Union, Turkmen Soviet Socialist Republic (Turkmen SSR); it became independent upon the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991.
Turkmenistan possesses the world's sixth largest reserves of natural gas resources. Most of the country is covered by the Karakum (Black Sand) Desert. From 1993 to 2017, citizens received government-provided electricity, water and natural gas free of charge.
The sovereign state of Turkmenistan was ruled by President for Life Saparmurat Niyazov (also known as Turkmenbashi) until his death in 2006. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow was elected president in 2007. According to Human Rights Watch, Turkmenistan remains one of the world’s most repressive countries. The country is virtually closed to independent scrutiny, media and religious freedoms are subject to draconian restrictions, and human rights defenders and other activists face the constant threat of government reprisal. After suspending the death penalty, the use of capital punishment was formally abolished in the 2008 constitution.Wikipedia

Kali ini saya akan ajak sobat treveler ke uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan, negara yang penduduk nya mayoritas muslim. Terletak diantara asia tengah dan eropa timur. Merupakan negara tertua di asia tengah. Yang sebelum nya negara bagian uni soviet. Merdeka pada tgl 1 september 1991.
Cuaca di Uzbekistan terdiri dr 4 musim, yaitu ; musim semi, musim panas, musim gugur, dan musim dingin.
Mata uang uzbekistan adalah som Uzbekistan, nilai mata uang nya hampir sama dengan rupiah.
Pesona keindahan dan sejarah Uzbekistan membuat presiden sukarno berkunjung pada tahun 1956.
Masyarakat uzbekistan terdidi dari sejumlah etnis. Seperti ethis uzbek, rusia, tatar, dan beberapa etnis lain nya, itulah yg membuat paras para wanita uzbek memiliki kecantikan yg khas.
Tidak perlu visa loh untuk masuk ke sana!
Jarak tempuh indonesia ke Uzbekistan +_7 jam dengan pesawat uzbek air. Jangan kwatir pesawat nya nyaman kok. menu makanan nya bervariasi dan jumlah nya cukup banyak, tidak perlu kwatir kelaparan selama di pesawat.
Uzekistan adalah negara yg memiliki pemandangan alam yg indah dipandu dengan peninggalan bangunan kuno yg sampai saat ini masih berdiri kokoh dan dilindungi unisco.
Ada 10 distinasi yg wajib sobat treveler kunjungi.
1. Makam imam al bukhari. Terletak dikota samarkan yg masih berdiri kokoh dg keindahan arsitektur bernuansa biru, hijau, putih terbuat dr marmer,onyx dan geranit. Kita dibuat kagum dg arsitektur elegan dan mewah bersejarah. menjadi bukti kejayan islam dimasa lalu.
2. SAMARKAN. Adalah kota yg sangat tua yg didirikan hampir 3.000 tahun lalu.selain makam imam al bukhari, terdapat masjid bibi khanum dan madrasah ulugbek masih kokoh berdiri yg masuk daftar warisan dunia unesco. Bangunan nya yg megah menjadi daya tarik tersendiri wisatawan.
3.registan square. Merupakan komplek madrasa terbesar dari abat pertengahan yg terdiri dari 3 gedung megah. Tempat lahir nya para cendikiawan muslim pada masa itu.
4. KotaTaskent. Adalah kota tua yg usia nya sudah berabat-abat. Dahulu kota ini menjadi jalur sutra. Dr asia menuju eropa.
5. Nukus. Daerah yg berbatasan dengan rusia. Memiliki peninggalan sejarah yg unik. Yaitu galeri savitsky. Terkenal dengan musium seni terlarang. Disini terdapat koleksi dr abat ke 20 seniman rusia.
6.kota Bukhara. Kota kelahiran imam bukhari. Salah satu cendikawan musim yg mendunia. Muslim indonesia pun populer mengenal nya.banyak nya bangunan peninggalan bersejara. Membuat kota ini ditetapkan menjadi salah satu situs warisan dunia unesco
7. Kota Jizzakh. Pemandangan alam nya sangat mempesona hati. hamparan padang safana, bertebaran gugusan pegunungan dan lekukan sungai sanzar. Menjadikan kota ini gambaran surga dunia. Disana juga ada kota tua yg romantis. dihiasi benteng benteng bukti kejayan kota dikala itu.
8.kota Gergana. kawasan jalur perniagan yg ramai. Banyak saudagar saudagar dunia yg singgah disana. Seperti kota hongkong ala uzbekistan
9.Chimgan.distinasi wisata yg cocok di musim dingin. Kita bisa bermain sky. Menaiki atraksi permainan salju. Menaiki gondola sky dan tidak ketinggalan naik helicopter sking harga nya paling murah dibandingkan kalau naik helicopter di negara lain sambil menikmati panorama putih. Sebagian wisata asing menyebutkan mirip pegunungan swiss.
10.kota Khiva. Memiliki arsitektur bergaya timur tengah. Hamparan kota tua yg unik dan ramah. Pasar tradisional nya memyediakan aneka macam sovenir khas uzbekistan harga nya pun tdk begitu mahal. Surga bagi penggemar barang antik. Banyak lestoran halal yg menyajikan aneka makanan khas uzk dan enak dilidah tentu nya.

Uzbek MEAT HEAVEN Inside a Caravanserai + UNESCO Sites Tour | Shahrisabz, Uzbekistan
After arriving in the UNESCO World Heritage town of Shahrisabz, I hit the ground running since I only had 12 hours to explore. Come along with me as I go on an incredible UNESCO sites tour and find myself in Uzbek meat heaven in a Caravanserai in Uzbekistan!
I started my afternoon right outside the city walls in front of the gate leading into the town. Shahrisabz the birthplace of Amir Timur, who founded the Timurid Empire and was the king of what is now Uzbekistan. The wall surrounds the old city, though the gate and parts of the wall have been completely renovated.
Outside the gate is a map that shows all the historical gates within the walled area of Shahrisabz.
My guide took me to the OQ Saroy Majmuasi Complex. It’s a huge gate with lots of beautiful blue tilework and Arabic writing from the Koran on it. Even partly destroyed, it’s huge at 32 meters tall. It used to be two times bigger!
The gate was built in the 14th century and much of the tilework is still intact. While I explored, I met an amazing flute player and even played with him!
We moved on to a statue of Amir Timur, which was constructed in 1996, on the 660th anniversary of his birth. Nearby is the Museum of Amir Timur and the Koba Caravanserai. The Koba Caravanserai is where people would stay and was centrally located. It’s been converted into a beautiful, well-insulated restaurant.
Back outside is Abdushukur Agalik Mosque, which has 12 unique pillars. I loved the blue and green colors. The pillars had been restored and there was beautiful white marble on the building.
Next, we saw the Chorsu Complex, which was a crafts bazaar. It’s really small compared to ones I’d visited in Tashkent and Samarkand. I could see the difference between the old and new bricks and cement.
Then, we visited the Kok Gumbaz Mosque, which has the largest dome in Uzbekistan. Amir Timur’s grandson built it in the 14th century. It’s the biggest mosque in the city. It was so impressive. The only place you can see architecture like this is in Central Asia!
Inside, it was a masterpiece. Throughout the mosque are lots of trees, stars, blue, white, and orange on the walls and ceiling. They depict energy. The painted designs are 500 years old!
Inside the mosque is the crypt of Amir Timur’s mentor, Shayx Shamsiddin Kulol. It’s a beautiful marble tomb with writing from the Koran written around it. There was a lot more white, blue, and stars on the walls around us. Even though it was 500 years old, it looked like it had been painted yesterday!
Amir Timur’s son’s tomb is located at the Dorus-Saodat Mausoleum Complex. It was meant to be for Timur’s family, but only his son is there. A lot of his family is buried in Samarkand. Most of the tilework has fallen, and his tomb is very plain. I liked the inscription on his tomb!
We doubled back to the Koba Caravanserai for dinner. I went with a beef salad, soup and kebabs, fried dumplings, and a grilled kebab. We also got some very fruity Uzbek wine.
The beef kebabs were amazing and so juicy! I couldn’t get enough of them! Uzbek kebabs are right up there with Indian kebabs!
Next, I went with the beef salad, which had cucumbers, sesame seeds, tomatoes, carrots, beef, and balsamic vinegar in it. It was so oily and refreshing! The sesame was the best part about it!
Then, I dove into the chicken, rice, potato, and carrot soup. Everything had been diced finely. Next were two beef dishes. The first one was oily and a little fatty. The second was ribs and was so fatty! The meat and fat was such an interesting and tasty contrast!
