Mauritius is a stunning island country in the Indian Ocean. We travelled from India to Mauritius in 2018 for 7 days. Mauritius as I mentioned is the most beautiful country I have traveled to so far.
In this Mauritius budget and planning guide, I have discusses everything that you most know before you travel to Mauritius i.e Flights , Accommodation, Transportation and what are the things to do in Mauritius and how much it costs.
This video is not does not include a detailed itinerary for Mauritius . If you ask me I don't thing one needs an itinerary for Mauritius. The country is so pretty that you can have the most amazing time at any place.
Accommodation
We booked ours through Airbnb. If you are not yet registered with Airbnb, you can use my referral link. You will get up to Rs. 3,015 off on your first trip.
Some things you must remember if you are traveling to Mauritius.
• Visa is free for Indians.
• You can withdraw cash from the ATMs. Credit and debit cards are wildly accepted in Mauritius ( In fact you get best currency exchange rate on cards)
• A drive/ride along the cost is must do when you are in Mauritius.
• Feel free to chat with locals in Hindi, they love it.
• Have a great time in Mauritius
