Manuel Antonio National Park is located a few minutes’ drive from Quepos, on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica.
Admission fees for non locals were $16 US dollars per person at time of filming but are now $18 US dollars per person.
The site is very well maintained and some of the trails lead you into the dense Costa Rican jungle.
Manuel Antonio National Park is definitely one of the must see places in Costa Rica.

Costa Rica - Manuel Antonio National Park
Manuel Antonio National Park, in Spanish the Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio, is a small National Park in the Central Pacific Conservation Area located on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, just south of the city of Quepos, Puntarenas, and 132 km (82 mi) from the national capital of San José. Established in 1972 with a land area enumerating 1 983 ha (the smallest of any Costa Rican national park), it is the destination of as many as 150,000 visitors annually and well known for its beautiful beaches and hiking trails. In 2011, Manuel Antonio was listed by Forbes among the world's 12 most beautiful national parks.

Observatiorio vertical. Vistas panorámicas de varias playas, laguna, humedal, manglar y varios nichos ecológicos observables a diferentes alturas con fines educativos de los niveles edafológicos.
El Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio es una área de conservación natural localizada en la costa pacífica central de Costa Rica, en el cantón de Quepos, provincia de Puntarenas.
Manuel Antonio fue seleccionado por la Revista Forbes en 2011 entre la lista de los 12 parques más bellos del mundo.
El parque está ubicado a unos 157 km al sur de la ciudad de San José capital de Costa Rica y 7 km al sur de la ciudad de Quepos, entre Damas y Matapalo. Fue establecido el 15 de noviembre de 1972 con una extensión de 1.983 ha en la parte terrestre y 55.000 ha en la parte marina, dedicados a la conservación, investigación y turismo ecológico orientado hacia la educación ambiental.

Die Ansiedlung Manuel Antonio und der dazugehörige Nationalpark Manuel Antonio liegen an der Pazifikküste im Süden Costa Ricas, sieben Kilometer südlich von Quepos.
Der Nationalpark ist mit sieben Quadratkilometern der kleinste Nationalpark Costa Ricas, zu ihm gehören sowohl die Palmenwälder am Pazifik als auch zwölf der Küste vorgelagerte kleine Inseln. Er ist bekannt für seine vielen, nicht menschenscheuen Tiere. Neben über 350 verschiedenen Pflanzenarten gibt es dort 109 verschiedene Säugetierarten, zum Beispiel Faultiere, Weißrüssel-Nasenbären, Kapuzineraffen und Gürteltiere. Nahezu alle Reptilien der Costa-Rica-Pazifikküste sind dort anzutreffen. Zum Beispiel sind ausgewachsene Schwarzleguane aus nächster Nähe beobachtbar. Im Park gibt es mehrere öffentliche Strände, an denen geschnorchelt werden darf. Dabei hat man Gelegenheit, sehr viele Fischarten zu beobachten.

We had recently started our road trip through Costa Rica. Today we were about to go and visit one of the most beautiful National Parks in the country, Manuel Antonio. It has been ranked as the top 12 best national parks in the world by forbes magazine. We walked through the jungle and saw an incredible creation!
In the coming videos we will also be going to the famous places of La Fortuna, Arenal Volcano and lake, Playa Hermosa, Jaco, Monte Verde Cloud forest, and also perhaps Tamarindo, Tortuguero and Santa Teresa and Puerto Viejo. We might also go to the Rio Celeste Waterfall, Guanacaste waterfall. La Paz Waterfall, Bajos Del Toro Waterfall and more. Stay tuned for more videos! Costa Rica vs Mexico is going to be this video series since I had spent over a year traveling around in Mexico and staying in really famous places not only in the Yucatan Peninsula but also the west side and state of Oaxaca. I will perhaps go back to Mexico after my trip here to Puerto Escondido or somewhere else. You can also see my other videos from Mexico with more famous destinations on my channel.

Hey guys, today we are here at Manuel Antonio National Park, we're here with Daniel who is going to be our guide today and so we're hoping to see some really cool wildlife and get to know the park a little better with our trusty guide so we can't wait to show you guys so let's go.
Although it is the smallest national park in Costa Rica, Manuel Antonio National Park is the most visited national park in the country and the second most visited in Latin America. Just 3 hours from San Jose International Airport, Manuel Antonio is one of the must see places in Costa Rica thanks to the beautiful white sand beaches and exotic wildlife.
For anyone who really wants to see wildlife in the park, we highly recommend getting a guide. Manuel Antonio National Park is home to over 300 species of birds, over 100 species of mammals and over 300 species of plants. In this park alone, you can see three different types of monkeys and both the two and 3 fingered sloths.
By getting a guide, you will have greater chances to see the wildlife. Our guide found lots of interesting animals for us like sloths, a laughing falcon, insects and other birds and he shared a lot of fascinating information about the rainforest, beaches and mangroves inside the park. You can find guides to hire at the entrance of the national park or you can book a tour which also includes transportation and the national park entrance fee.
The park has several trails, including one universal access trail and you can hike to a waterfall and to several different viewpoints. There are a few beaches inside the park which are very nice for swimming.
It's worth spending one full day at Manuel Antonio National Park to enjoy the stunning beaches, hike a little through the lush rainforest and see the wildlife that call this amazing place home.

Nos adentraremos en lugares como el Parque Nacional Corcovado donde podremos ver animales como el jaguar, el oso melero... En costa rica alberga una gran diversidad natural, tanto terrestres como acuáticas.
Haremos una parada en Liberia, conocida como la “Ciudad Blanca”. Esta ciudad colonial sirve como entrada a las playas del pacífico y los parques nacionales de Guanacaste gracias a su ubicación estratégica. La ciudad es famosa por sus festivales culturales y es un importante centro urbano con una arquitectura colonial bien conservada y es parte de la ruta del café costarriqueño.
Este país no solo se hace destacar por su fauna y flora, si no que también porque es considerado uno de los países más felices de América Latina, donde se prioriza el bienestar ciudadano. Su cultura diversa, alberga grandes aspectos por su herencia indígena, la colonización española y las influencias africanas y asiáticas.
