Mysterious Zongo falls are located about 135km away from Kinshasa, congo. The falls located inside Seli Safari research.
Located 130 kilometers (90 miles) from Kinshasa, Zongo Park provides a lovely setting & a spectacular scenery to the Zongo Waterfalls. The gorgeous 65m-high Zongo falls are one of DRC’s most spectacular sights. It takes 3 to 4 hours to reach Kisantu in the Bas Congo where the waterfall is located. Getting to the viewpoints involves some hiking, but watching the water roaring over the precipice into the river below is unforgettable. What makes Zongo waterfalls unique is the water vapor that rises to the sky when the river water hits the ground. If in dry season, you might go to the beach located 10 km away from the waterfall, there you could experience the massage waterfall.

I'm back in Ethiopia for the 3rd time because it's one of my favorite countries in Africa! I am now exploring a city in the North called Gondar, and little did I know that I'd come across thousands of fellow Jews.
As you might know by now, I enjoy connecting with Jewish communities around the world, like I've done in Afghanistan, Yemen, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Philippines among many others -- but this experience has been the most eye-opening because of how alive the Jewish culture is. Some 4,000 Ethiopian Jews are here, studying torah, keeping Shabbat and learning Hebrew.
If this is not a fascinating story, then I am not sure what is! Join me as I take you inside the world of the forgotten Jewish tribe of Ethiopia.

Kayaking Malawi | Malawi
Kayaking a portion of Lake Malawi’s coastline and camping on the beach was quite the experience. Talk about beautiful water, starry nights by the campfire, and some sore arms!

We spent 3 days kayaking from Nkhata Bay to Usisya, Malawi with our two guides. Lake Malawi is so large it looks and waves like an ocean. You can’t see land on the other side, where Tanzania and Mozambique both border the lake. We spent each morning kayaking in the wavy water and would then break for lunch on a beach. In the afternoon we would kayak further, stopping to snorkel and see some of their famous cichlids. At night we would camp on the beach of the lake, normally with a small village nearby. As we sat around the fire eating, the fisherman would go out on the lake to fish using solar lights to attract the small fishes to their nets.

This trip not only gave me an insanely cool mode of transportation to see different parts of the country but it also made me love kayaking. (My arms still don’t love it, but we are working on getting these toothpicks stronger.) Hoping to get a kayak this spring and spend some time on the water this summer.
