8. Visit Pyrgos.
Pyrgos is the former capital of Santorini and the best-preserved medieval settlement on the island. It is located about seven kilometers south of Fira, but feels much further away as there aren’t as many tourists in the area.
7. Red Beach
This is arguably the most famous and beautiful beach of Santorini and is located in the area of the ancient site of Akrotiri. Red Beach owes its name to the original colors of the steep cliffs created from the volcanic lava.
6. Fira is the beautiful capital of the island. It’s located on the western edge of Santorini and has a combination of natural beauty, social life, night life, and shopping.
5. Akrotiri is one of the most interesting places to visit in Greece. Being a thriving community from 4000 to 2000 B.C., this town is now covered in ash following a volcanic eruption on the island in about 1600 BC. It is also referred to as the ‘Greek Pompei’ and is extremely well preserved.
4. The 4th best thing to do in Santorini is to visit a winery. Because of its unique climate and the mineral content of its volcanic soil, Santorini produces arguably the best wine in Greece.

Super Paradise Beach on Mykonos, Greece
Super Paradise Beach in Mykonos is in a small quiet bay with calm waters, 7 km from Mykonos Town. A popular gay beach, the party scene comes alive as the night approaches. Detailed info:
At one end of the beach is Super Paradise Beach Club with a hookah lounge and self serve restaurant, plus the regular beach waiters. Parties here last late into the night with big name DJs. At the other end is the large Jackie O’ Beach Club with a nice pool and fine dining restaurant with great live drag queen shows every night. There are no public buses to the beach, though the beach is served by the Mykonos water taxi, and there are 2 private boat docks as well. Super Paradise is one of the most gay-friendly beaches on Mykonos, and also a good choice for families.

Our Stay: Greece
With just 14 days to shoot, we set out to the Greek islands with a goal to bring the famed destination to life like never before. We’d use predominantly FPV to create a thrilling ride through countless locations across Santorini and Mykonos, but without missing out on capturing and conveying the subtle beauty of the culture and people at each location we shot. Our need to travel both wide and deep led us to partner up with Katikies.
All 7 Katikies properties became our revolving home-base for the shoot, not to mention central characters in the resulting film. From sunrise to sunset we’d shoot in the stunning rooms, pools, restaurants, and corridors before diving into the views and setting out to film at nearby locations like Red Beach, Black Beach, Ammoudi, Mykonos Town, or Earth and Water Pottery Studio. Katikies was more than a sanctuary, the hotel and its staff was an expert concierge to truly experiencing the islands, arranging everything from yacht excursions to authentic cavernous wine tastings for us.
We experienced the magic of Greece all throughout the shooting process and we hope you feel it while watching the video. Look for it in the painted canvas of the intro scene which a local artist painted for us in under 24 hours, and in the violinist at Red Beach who agreed to climb to a peak and play his songs on a more dramatic stage for us, and in the steady hands of potterist Andreas Makaris who never tired of our studio visits to capture one more angle. Thank you for all the magic, Greece!

[4K] Nammos Mykonos Greece June 2023
Come with me for lunch at the world famous Nammos restaurant on Psarrou beach in Mykonos. I have to say this was my favourite restaurant from my 7 day stay in Mykonos returning a number of times as the food and music were absolutely fantastic and the atmosphere was everything you would want from a beach club in Mykonos. Also the beach and view is just amazing. There was nothing I did not like about Nammos and also to get to the restaurant you get to walk through Nammos Village which has many of the world famous designer shops so if you like shopping this is a perfect location. If you are in Mykonos and looking for an amazing beach, great food along with the best music and atmosphere this is certainly the place to go. I can't wait to return next year.
