We flew to Palawan and visited one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World: the Underground River. There we stayed on the beach in Puerto Princesa and took you on a tour through the tropical rainforest, the mangrove forests, the open sea and the underground river.
We make our trip through the Philippines during a world tour of one and a half years. We may even continue to travel indefinitely. On New Year's Day we started in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands. Then you saw us in Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, the Bahamas, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, Brazil, Qatar, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Australia. The next continent Asia and Bohol is already our twentieth destination. We have also been away from home for a year. Follow us on this world tour, first in the Philippines, from Bohol to Palawan and then to many more beautiful destinations! We also cross over to Africa! El Nido Tour A is the most popular island hopping tour in El Nido where you will visit the stunning Big Lagoon, Secret Lagoon, 7 Commandos Beach and Shimizu Island. We took a private tour (240 USD, lunch & drinks included) from Ape Tours:

The Big Lagoon is truly one of the most breathtaking places to see in El Nido. The majestic deep blue and bright turquoise waters are surrounded by massive tree-covered limestone cliffs. It’s a slice of paradise, unlike any other place you’ll see in the Philippines – or even the world.
Shimizu Island is one of the numerous ones dotting El Nido’s Bacuit Bay. This small island had become a popular spot for snorkeling because of its colorful marine life. It’s part of the Tour A island-hopping package and an alternative stopover spot for lunch, so it can get a bit crowded here during midday.
The Japanese-sounding name makes one wonder about the island’s origin. According to guides and boatmen, a group of scuba divers explored the waters of El Nido decades ago, and one of them didn’t make it back from a deep underwater tunnel. Days were spent searching for the diver’s body until it was found on an island with imposing rock formations and fine white sand. The deceased diver’s last name was Shimizu, and the island was later named after him.
Secret Lagoon is a small pool of water hidden within one of the most incredible beach in El Nido. As soon as your boat docks near the lagoon, your guide will direct you to a small opening hidden between a towering wall of limestone rocks by the seashore. It’s easy to miss this secret spot, and most people wonder if its possible to crawl through this tiny hole.
But once you get through it, you’ll be greeted by an unusual sight: a massive limestone rock formation surrounding a small body of water right in the middle of it.
Enclosed within a lagoon and eclipsed by towering rocks all around you, this awe inspiring scenery lends an otherworldly experience for visitors.
Depending on where your boat is parked, you’ll find more secret coves and hidden white sand beaches in the areas surrounding the secret lagoon. Take your time look around beyond the tiny opening to the secret lagoon, and you’ll be rewarded with more spectacular nooks and crannies waiting to be discovered.
Located in El Nido, Seven Commandos Beach has beautiful white sands, turquoise waters, and dramatic limestone cliffs. Fringed with coconut palms this is the archeytpal tropical Southeast Asian beach. They say that the name comes from World War II, when seven commandos were stranded here. There isn’t really any more information than that, or whether it is even true.

We have left Alaska behind! We moved to Alaska nearly 3 years ago and absolutely loved it. After moving to Alaska however, we quickly realized we wanted even more of an adventure. We decided the next adventure would be a year spent traveling the world.

10 Years in EL NIDO (PALAWAN, PHILIPPINES) - The Most Beautiful Place In The World !!!
5 minutes of 10 years of a life in El Nido Palawan Philippines.
From 2012 to 2022, Palawan has been elected several times Most Beautiful Island In The World and El Nido became THE place to be. The place where many TV Shows (Survivor, Kho Lanta...), Movies (The Bourne Legacy) were been shot for its amazing landscapes.
I was just a tourist shooter like everyone else when those shots were taken, and decided after 10 years, to clean up the external drives and sadly i didn't know how to video shoot properly.
The purpose of this video wasn't to show my shooting skills but the beauty of this place through the years.
As the country reopens its borders after 2 years, it's the best moment to promote this place we call paradise, this place we call home.

IS EL NIDO THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN THE WORLD? ???????? PARADISE in the PHILIPPINES
We understand why El Nido is so highly recommended! Although it's developing slowly into a more of a resort town it still feels very much untouched with a truly relaxing island vibe!
We highly recommend the Canyon Walk which was the first activity we did. With amazing views over El Nido beach you feel like you're on top of the world after a 10 minute climb.
We then grabbed a spot of lunch before heading to Corong Corong beach, where we decided to rent a Kayak and see the island from a different point of view. The rock formations are incredible and well worth seeing!
We have one more day in El Nido and we're doing one of the famous boat tours, so be sure to check out our next video it will be a good one!
