2 Weeks in Paradise: Tahiti, Bora Bora and Moorea in 4K
We had an amazing 2 weeks during our vacation / honeymoon in French Polynesia: we went to Tahiti, Bora Bora, and Moorea. This paradise had some of the best snorkeling we've ever experienced; this might be one of the best places in the world to snorkel. We saw so many varieties of fish, sharks, sting rays, octopuses, manta rays, moray eels, corals, and more. On land, the beaches and scenery were breathtaking. The islands were filled with beautiful sandy beaches everywhere. The jungle was also so lush, and did not have dangerous animals. And the over water bungalows at the hotels were amazing!

This is a beach tour of the most beautiful beaches of Mo'orea Island, French Polynesia.
Ta’ahiamanu (Mareto) Beach is one of the few public access beaches on the island. This narrow stretch of white sand is a popular spot for both tourists and locals on weekends. Fear not, you’ll find plenty of room to stretch out without bumping anyone else’s beach towel. Despite the lack of facilities, it’s ideal for splashing about, sunbathing or picnicking. Snorkelers will find plenty of coral and marine life right in front of the beach.
Easily one of the most stunning lookout spots in Moorea. It’s most beautiful when the sun is shinning, as the colors of the water and reefs will looks the most beautiful.
Temae Beach - This peaceful locale features a white sandy beach & clear waters framed by lush hills & palm trees.
Nested on Mo’orea most spectacular islet (motu), surrounded by the clearest waters, Coco beach has been known by locals as the one place to catch up, relax and celebrate for the better the last two decades. The restaurant is located on a private island “Motu Tiahura”, North-West of the island of Mo’orea.

Diving FRENCH POLYNESIA - Tahiti - Underwater Video 4K - BLUE PARADISES (S01)

It's because it is, an underwater paradise like there is no other. Some say fifty shades of blue.
Our Odyssey through these islands and atolls is one of the most spectacular diving expeditions we have had the chance to do.
A crystal clear water (visbility can reach 45 meters), hundreds of different reef fish species, corals and pelagic, to sum up : an exceptional beauty both in terms of flora and fauna.
French Polynesia is known as the largest shark santuary in the world,
probably the only place in the world where you can see 6 species of sharks in a single dive : Grey reef sharks, Tiger sharks, Black-tip sharks, White-tip sharks, Nurse sharks and Lemon sharks. Yes! In a single dive.
The dives are mainly drifting because of the underwater topography of its passes, this is where the show begins, life is teeming: Hammerhead sharks, dolphins, school of barracuda, eagle rays, turtles, manta rays, marbled groupers, tuna, napoleons... We are not going to give you an exhaustive list, because there are around 800 species, I'll let you imagine.
We dived into the main passes:Tiputa, Tumakohua, Garuae, Avatoru,... But the one that offered us the most beautiful spectacle is undoubtedly Tetamanu, the southern pass of Fakarava. Imagine yourself in front of a wall of 700 sharks (We were there the third week of June).
If you do not yet practice scuba diving, no worries, you can fully enjoy the beauties that French Polynesia has to offer by practicing snorkeling.
In the stunning lagoon of Moorea, you can snorkel with stingrays, black tip sharks and colorful fishes.
If French Polynesia benefits from a unique underwater environment, magnificent coral reefs and amazing lagoons, it is also an earthly paradise, not only for its majestic scenery or its dream beaches but above all for the kindness of the Polynesians (Tahitians).
So far we have mainly traveled to the Society Islands and the Tuamotus but we are planning to go in the Austral archipelago to swim with the
Humpback whales. Exploring Polynesia is the adventure of a lifetime, because it is the size of Europe.

Moorea, an island in French Polynesia is truly one of the South Pacific’s best kept hidden gems. This glorious paradise offers everything travelers like my wife and I look for—panoramic mountain views, hiking trails leading to breathtaking island views, white sandy beaches, calm and shallow turquoise waters, picturesque bays, and a variety of activities that will surely keep you in awe. During this trip, we were able to experience plenty of activities—from circling the island waters on a jet ski, swimming with humpback whales, sharks and stingrays, boating, snorkeling, ATV tour around mountains and plantations, parasailing, and the unique experience that the Tiki Village had to offer. This may be very bold for us to say, but Moorea, you are, by far, the most beautiful place we've been to in this wonderful world.

The Locale
Located only ten nautical miles from Tahiti, Moorea is easily accessible by ferry or plane from Papeete. Still, Moorea has managed to maintain its small island feel despite this popularity and the presence of a few internationally branded resorts.
