In today’s travel vlog, we checked out of our weird hostel and tried to walk to our cruise port which turned out to be a terrible idea. Thankfully Uber came to the rescue and took us to the most beautiful cruise ship we’ve ever been on. We got a special surprise when we arrived to our room and then toured the ship!

MSC Splendida cruise ship tour
MSC Splendida was completed in 2009 at a cost of $550 million and is a sister ship to MSC Fantasia, originally, she was to be named MSC Serenata, but the name was changed in May 2007 to MSC Splendida. She measures 137,936 GT, and is 333.30 m long with a beam of 37.98 m, a height of 66.81 m and a draft of 8.29 m. Her capacity is 3,900 passengers. The two Neopanamax vessels were to be the largest ships in a European cruise line's fleet at the time of delivery.

More specifically, the cruise ship MSC Splendida, on which I will be spending an entire week eating food and perhaps also do some sightseeing. This video i will show you Msc Splendida Cruise Ship . This video describes the detail of Odyssey of the Seas cruise ship, including the description about the decks and cabins of the ship, shipboard entertainment options, suites, and Shipboard dining options of Msc Splendida, and msc splendida suite.
The ship carrying 4000 people A reasonably big ship built for the European source market is the MSC Splendida. Splendida offers a variety of entertainment options in addition to delicious food choices. She has a design that is suitable for families. Most passengers are from Europe and range in age.
The Splendida Cruise Ship puts a strong focus on being a eco-ship, and has several systems in place for trash management, water recycling, and energy conservation. Join us for a Day at Sea aboard the MSC Bellissima.
Before we go any further, we’d like to explain how we got onto this cruise. It all started a few years ago when one of our fans texted that they were coming to Switzerland. Those few comments turned into conversations, and shortly after, we met our beloved Uncle Pepe in Zermatt, CH.
From there, we did several trips together, a cruise around the Mediterranean, and a few other meetups. Once we were in Dubai, Pepe contacted us about a cruise around the Persian Gulf he found, and of course, we couldn’t say no to such a fantastic opportunity.

So, let’s take it away.
It was our 5th day aboard the MSC Bellissima when we were pleasantly surprised with a delicious breakfast treat delivered straight to our rooms.
Croissants, fruit, meat, cheese, and freshly squeezed juice — there was something to everyone’s liking. However, Chloe still thought it would have been less messy if we just went to the buffet.
Once breakfast was over, we had a few more school and work tasks to go through, and then it was time to enjoy our daily activities. School time didn’t last much for Chloe as she took part in the Master Chef at Sea.
Next on our agenda was the Water Park found on the top deck aboard the Bellissima. We actually made Uncle Pepe go down his first water slide ever!
Later, Angelique and Pepe tried the F1 simulator, but we were most excited for the night coming up as we were seeing the world-renowned Cirque du Soleil at Sea. Needless to say, every second of that show was exciting and captivating.
For dinner, we tried Japanese Teppanyaki, and the entertaining and talented chef turned it into one of our favorite experiences aboard the cruise ship. The dessert was very unique too — we had a scoop of ginger ice cream on top of a slice of fried pineapple.
The next morning, we found a quiet, secluded area to have breakfast at, and then we were off on a day trip to the island of Sir Bani Yas.
The weather was quite windy, so we started with a short but bumpy sail to the island. On the island, we were welcomed by the crew that had organized different activities such as beach volleyball, Zumba classes, or even a safari tour.
We decided to soak up the sun on the sandy beach for a while, but the chilly wind soon forced us back on the MSC Bellissima.
We started the evening with an amazing show that featured some of the most elaborate costumes we had ever seen.
Then, it was time to enjoy some Spanish tapas for dinner and the inevitable Sangria. Over dinner, Julia suggested that you shouldn’t leave things unattended on the balcony as the wind may just blow them overboard.
We ended the night by learning a little dance routine and having fun on the dance floor.

Een week cruisen vanuit Dubai.
In de maand maart mochten wij, Hélène en Terry, een groep ondernemers uit Zuid Holland begeleiden op hun cruise met MSC naar het Midden-Oosten. Op zo'n 7 uur vliegen van Amsterdam arriveerden we met een vlucht van Emirates op Dubai, waarna de cruise kon beginnen. Door het schip MSC Virtuosa werden Dubai, Sir Bani Yas eiland, Abu Dhabi en Doha in Qatar aangedaan. Een hele mooie en gezellige reis, met bijzondere verrassingen, uitstekende verzorging door MSC en natuurlijk lekker weer!

In March we, Hélène and Terry accompanied a group of entrepreneurs from Zuid Holland in the Netherlands on their MSC cruise to the Middle East. After a 7-hour flight on an Emirates flight from Amsterdam, we arrived in Dubai , after which the cruise could begin. On our ship MSC Virtuosa Dubai, Sir Bani Yas island, Abu Dhabi and Doha in Qatar were visited. A very nice and pleasant trip, with special surprises, excellent care by MSC and of course great weather!

Hello Cruisers! Good Cruise News again! Finally i can share a new video about my last cruise with MSC Splendida in June 2021! I’ve spent last week onboard MSC Splendida so now I can show you what it’s really like cruising in 2021! MSC Splendida has a wonderful itinerary for this summer, Triest (Italy), Ancona (Italy), Dubrovnik (Croatia), Bari (Italy), Corfu (Greece), Split (Croatia)!
The cruise went very well. MSC was taking their procedures extremely seriously and are really leading the way when it comes to returning to cruising.
I loved being on board and i think that cruise ships are still the safest way to travel in this period!

On the fourth day of my cruise through the Middle East, I found myself locked on the ship, because the entire day was to be spend on sea. This gave me an awesome idea. Why not spend the entire food? What a fantastic idea, or not. Anyways, here is a video presenting the massive amounts of food available on the MSC Splendida cruise ship.

Come Cruise With Us On The Msc Splendida To Greece And Turkey!
It's been a few years, but we finally got back on board a cruise ship. This time, we took the 11-day East Mediterranean cruise on the MSC Splendida, starting in Trieste.
Our second day was a relaxing sailing day. I really enjoy starting with a sailing day so that you can explore the ship a little bit and enjoy the sea.
Our first stop on land was in Katakolon, where we walked a little bit around this little town. We returned very early and took advantage of the empty ship. We appreciated the pools and jacuzzis. After that, we had a delicious lunch in the ship's restaurant.
Our next destination was Mykonos. The ship docked a bit far from the town centre. But luckily we could take a boat, for €2,-, that brought us to the centre in about 5/10 minutes. Mykonos is the perfect 'picture' place. With its white houses and blue details, every photo you'll take will look amazing.
And now our trip is reaching one of its highlights. We dock at Kuşadasi in Turkey. We were very curious to see Ephesus, so we went on a guided tour by MSC. Ephesus is one of the largest and most impressive ancient cities in the world. And visiting these ruins was genuinely remarkable. What made the biggest impression on me was the facade of the Library of Celsus, rebuilt with the original pieces, and the ancient theatre, with a capacity of 25.000, the largest in the ancient world. This site is truly worth the visit. After seeing Ephesus, we drove back to Kuşadasi, where we had some free time to explore the city. We discovered a lovely modern tourist town with lots of shops and restaurants.
The next stop was one of the reasons why we decided to take this cruise 'Istanbul'. We booked a tour with MSC to see some of the highlights of this astonishing city. The bus picked us up at the Galataport and drove us to the area near the Grand Bazar. First, we had some time off to walk around the Grand Bazar. You can get lost in all those little streets with various shops. We enjoyed ourselves with a nice cup of Turkish coffee and one of Chai. We continued our walk to see the Binbirdirek Cistern, the Sultanahmet Square, the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, also known as the blue mosque, and the Hagia Sophia Mosque. I loved walking through the city. And then we docked in Corfu. It was our second time here, and not much has changed in 8 years.
Our last stop was back in Italy, in Bari. We took the excursion to see Alberobello. It was fascinating to see its many particular dry stone huts named Trulli. The Trulli were used as houses and sheds together. But nowadays, they use them as holiday rentals and some as souvenir shops.
One last night on board, and we are back in Trieste again. It's the end of this memorable holiday.
