MASSIVE Bowl of RAMEN NOODLES & Street Food Tour of Malaysia

Penang is the PERFECT foodie hotspot. As soon as I got there, I found so many great places to eat! I got a lot of recommendations to try certain places, so here are my thoughts!

Some highlights include the Sister Curry Mee, you can't get enough of their noodles! These sisters have been making noodles for over 70 years, and you can tell by the first sip that they put nothing but love in their broth.

The Penang Assam Laksa hawker stall is a must-have! The uncle has been making this recipe for years with his daughter, and it really is one of the most authentic laksas you can get. Just thinking about it makes me want to fly back there...

And of course I had to take a nice break by eating a massive bowl of ramen noodles! To be fair, it wasn't the freshest bowl of ramen noodles (I mean, the seafood was previously frozen :/ ) but come on, who can resist a giant bowl of ramen all for yourself?

LOCATIONS:
0:50 Ayer Itam Sister Curry Mee

9:00 Pasar Air Itam Laksa

13:16 Kayu Nasi Kandar

16:41 Chew Jetty Big Bowl Ramen Noodles

19:37 888 Hokkien Prawn Mee

THE SPICIEST RAMEN in Tokyo at Karashibi Kikanbo - DEVIL LEVEL Japanese Food!

Subscribe for more videos►
T-shirts for sale here►

Karashibi Miso Ramen Kikanbo is known for serving the spiciest bowl of ramen you can eat in Tokyo, Japan, and not only is it insanely spicy, you’ll also find that it’s one of the most flavorful bowls of ramen you’ll ever eat as well.

They have two shops, the one of the corner serves only Tsukemen, a style of Japanese ramen where the noodles are dry and you dip them in the sauce. For the traditional bowl of ramen, you walk around the corner to the side and that’s the shop you’re looking for.

Like most ramen restaurants in Tokyo, you enter to a vending machine and choose your bowl of ramen, pay and get a ticket. There are two different spice levels to choose from, chili 1-5 and Sichuan pepper 1-5, 5 being the strongest which is called Devil Level!

I decided to go Devil Level all the way, both chili and Sichuan pepper. Price - 1500 JPY ($13.60) for my bowl. From the top bowl, you pay an extra 200 Yen due to adding so much more spices.

First of all, the Japanese food miso ramen was outstanding, the flavor of the broth was incredibly delicious. On my first bite, what hit me hard was the Sichuan pepper, that made my mouth start tingling and made it hard for me to control my mouth or even talk! The Devil Level chili was not too bad for me, but it was the huge amount of Sichuan chili that almost did me in.

You don’t have to order Devil Level, you can order whatever level you like, but the ramen at Tokyo’s Karashibi Miso Ramen Kikanbo is sure to blow you away with insane flavor!

Karashibi Miso Ramen Kikanbo
2 Chome-10-10 Kajicho, Chiyoda, Tokyo 101-0044, Japan
Price - 1500 JPY ($13.60)

Japanese Street Food - ORIGINAL FRIED RAMEN + 5 Must Eat Foods in Fukuoka, Japan!!

???? Japanese Food - 4 Times Tastier:

???? Subscribe:

FUKUOKA, JAPAN - Welcome to Fukuoka, on the island of Kyushu, in southern Japan, and this is one of the capitals of Japanese street food in the country. They have done an amazing job to preserve the culture of “yatai” or portable street food stalls that set up in the evening across the city. Tonight we’re going on an ultimate Japanese street food tour in Fukuoka, going to 5 different place for 5 Japanese dishes and I can’t wait to share all the food with you now.

#1 Yaki Ramen
Location: Kokinchan: - We’re starting off with a famous yatai stall where they invented the original yaki ramen - or fried ramen. It was definitely new to me, I thought it would be more of a dry fried noodles, but it was rather a wet and soup fried noodle dish. Amazing, as were the other dishes.
Price - 2,650 JPY for everything

#2 Gyoza
Location: Yatai Mamichan: - You can go on a Japanese street food tour without eating gyoza, and Yatai Mamichan is one of the best places to eat them. The chef is amazingly skilling, cooking everything on his own and darting from station to station. Part of the great thing about eating at Yatai is being right in front of the cooking and interacting with the chef.
Price - 8,450 JPY for 5 people (we ordered a lot and lots of drinks)

#3 Tempura - Next, I’m not totally sure of the name of this place, but they are known for their tempura, battered and deep fried seafood and vegetables. It was a little oily, but still quite tasty.
Price - 1,100 JPY

#4 Hakata Ramen
Location: Yatai Kiryu: - Hakata ramen, or tonkotsu ramen is one of the most common and popular dishes in Fukuoka and you’ll find Hakata ramen served at nearly all yatai food stalls.
Price - 650 JPY per bowl

#5 Yakitori
Location: Yatai Kawachan: - Finally we ate at a place called Yatai Kawachan, known for their yakitori, or grilled chicken skewers. It was a quite a selection of different skewers from gizzard to hot dog.
Total price - 4,400 JPY for everything with drinks

The yatai street food culture in Fukuoka is one of the great Japanese food scenes in Japan. Let’s hope generations continue to take pride in their food stalls and preserve the yatai culture.

Thank you to Visit Kyushu ( for helping me organize this food tour.

FUKUOKA Noodle Tour!!! Going DEEP for SPICY Tsukemen, LIME Soba + The FIRST ICHIRAN Ramen in Japan!

Get ready to SLURP on 5 bowls of delicious ramen and noodles in Fukuoka, Japan! Japanese Food in FUKUOKA is the BEST! Get ready for this Fukuoka travel and food video!

The Best VPNs for China:

Today, in this Food Ranger video I (Trevor James) am taking you in DEEP for 5 bowls of AMAZING Ramen, Tsukemen, and Soba in Fukuoka, Japan!

Fukuoka is the capital of Fukuoka Prefecture, right on Kyushu Island. It is famous for ancient temples, and is the birthplace of SOBA and UDON noodles in Japan! In this video, we're trying the famous Hakata Ramen. Fukuoka is famous as the home of the Hakata ramen (Tonkotsu style) made with the richest pork bone broth and bone marrow broth you’ll ever taste! We're also trying a LIME SOBA (sudachi lime), and visiting the first ever Ichiran ramen chain in Japan! Make sure to watch all the way until the end to enjoy all of these Japanese Ramen and noodles!

For our first bowl, we're going to try a very famous Hakata ramen restaurant in Fukuoka.
They specialise in Hakata Ramen made with Tonkotsu pork bone broth. I ordered the spicy because I couldn't resist it. It was fantastic! Extremely rich with pork, creamy, and a very memorable bowl of noodles in Fukuoka.

Shop Name: Hakkata Ikkousha
Address: 3-23-12 Hakata Ekimae Kowa Bld, Hakata, Fukuoka

After this, we're visiting the birthplace of Soba and Udon noodles in Japan, the joten-ji temple. This is the warmup to visit a very delicious soba restaurant serving SUDACHI lime cold soba! This was perhaps the most refreshing bowl of noodles I've ever eaten!

Shop Name: Shinshu Soba Murata
Address: 2-9-1- Reisenmachi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka

After this, we're going to a workers lunch Hakata ramen to try the MEAT BLANKET hakata ramen. This time, instead of ordering spicy, I'm getting the pure tonkotsu stock covered in fatty chasiu pork. It was delicious! A regular bowl though, not the most INCREDIBLE tasting, but still top quality.

Shop Name: Hakata Genki Ichiban

And next up, we're going to Tsukemen dipping noodles! These were SPICY! And I only ordered about 80% spicy, there was still one level more spicy! It was a rich fish stock and very creamy and delicious! But very spicy!

Shop Name: Menya Kanetora

And to finish up, we're visiting the FIRST ever Ichiran ramen chain in Japan. This is where it all started! Ichiran is famous because you can fully customise your bowl of ramen. I love it. It's a bit touristy, but it's delicious. I ordered my custom bowl and it was fantastic!

Shop Name: Ichiran Main Branch, Fukuoka

Ramen Tour of Ginza, Tokyo - 3 unique bowls of ramen

#1 Ramen Rule - Taste the broth first, after that, there are no other main rules to eating ramen, just slurp and enjoy.

Ginza Kagari - The first Japanese ramen restaurant we went to is a very well known place that serves chicken ramen, called Ginza Kagari. We waited in line for about 30 minutes before getting in. The broth was thick and rich, and overall a very good bowl.
Price - 1,050 JPY ($9.23)

Kazami - This was one of my favorites of the day, a thick unique sake ramen. One of the interesting things about ramen in Japan is that it’s a relatively recent addition to Japanese food, and so there are less “rules” meaning chefs can experiment and try unique versions of ramen. This sake ramen was delicious.
Price - 980 JPY ($8.62)

Shichisai - Finally for our last bowl of ramen on this ramen food tour, we ate at a place called Shichisai, known for serving hand-made noodles right in front of you. The noodles were the best of the tour for sure.
Price - 970 JPY ($8.53)

If I could have the noodles from Shichisai and the sake broth from Kazami, that would be perfect!

Thank you to The Hungry Tourist for inviting me on The Best of Tokyo Food Tour.
(I didn’t personally pay for the food in this video).

Taiwan Street Food - BEST BEEF NOODLES + 5 Must Eat Foods in Taipei!!

Taiwanese Street Food - The Ultimate Tour!
???? T-shirts:
???? Ghost Chili Powder: (Amazon affiliate link)

TAIPEI, TAIWAN - Welcome to Taiwan! Today we’re going on an ultimate Taiwanese street food tour to eat 5 of the best dishes that you don’t want to miss eating when you’re in Taipei. From beef noodles to scallion pancakes, these are five of the most iconic and delicious foods to try, and where to try them. Let’s eat!

1. Beef Noodles (牛肉麵)
Location: Liu Shandong Beef Noodles 劉山東牛肉麵 (
Price: 160 TWD ($5.28) per bowl
Beef noodles are perhaps the single most famous of all Taiwanese foods, there are few things better than a giant bowl of thick noodles with a soothing beef bone broth, and Taiwan does it well. Liu Shandong Beef Noodles is one of the legends of Taiwanese beef noodles, old school, and droolworthy. It was an honor to have a kitchen tour with Taiwan’s King of beef noodles!

2. Lu Rou Fan (滷肉飯)
Location: Jin Da Lu Rou Fan 今大魯肉飯 (
Total price - 170 TWD ($5.62)
Perhaps the single most iconic and loved dish in Taiwan for Taiwanese people is Lu Rou Fan (滷肉飯), a sauce made from braised pork belly to eat over rice. It has its origins in Taiwan when people needed to take a little meat and stretch the flavor, creating a flavorful gravy. It’s comfort food and something that is dear to the hearts of Taiwanese people.

3. Scallion Pancake (蔥抓餅)
Location: Hsiung Chi Scallion Pancake 雄記蔥抓餅 (
Price - 110 TWD ($3.63) for both
Next up on this Taiwan street food tour we’re eating scallion pancakes, one of the most popular street food snacks. They pancakes are almost roti style and you can get them with eggs, or full on with egg, cheese, ham, sauces, and extra toppings. It’s fresh, tasty, gooey, and crispy all at the same time.

4. Stinky Tofu (臭豆腐)
Location: Dai’s House of Unique Stink 戴記獨臭之家臭豆腐專賣店 (
Total price - 175 TWD ($5.78)
Ah yes, stinky tofu, something your taste buds will never forget! It’s more than a meal, but an experience and something truly to be respected. This place makes all their own stinky tofu and we had the rare opportunity to taste a 2 year old fermented tofu - one of the stronger flavors I’ve ever experienced, WOW!

5. Dumplings (餃子)
Location: Dragon Inn Dumpling House 龍門客棧餃子館 (林森店) (
Total price - 550 TWD ($18.17)
Few things make me think about Taiwan and Taiwanese food more than dumplings and braised meats and parts. Dragon Inn serves legendary boiled dumplings and their cabinet of braised items is something truly impressive. What a meal, so good.

So there you have all five of the must eat dishes when you’re in Taiwan and where to eat them!

Thanks to my friend for helping me arrange this food tour.

CHILI Crab & Noodles! Malaysia Food Tour Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur is an amazing place for anyone with an appetite, and I explored some of the top recommended spots local foodies love and live for.

Bak Kut Teh is a meat stew that is boiled for hours with herbs until it becomes tender, off-the-bone succulent. Though it may be a heavy breakfast choice for some, I thought it was a great start to our food day.

The Chili Pan Mee (dry noodles) with a fried egg, anchovies, and chilis were amazing. The noodles were al dente, chewy, and the perfect snack to add to any food itinerary!

Even now as I'm writing this description, the thought of those crabs just makes me drool! At first, I thought the black crab was cooked in black bean paste, but that wasn't the case. It is covered in a dense, shrimp paste and is incredibly flavorful. The chili crab and the salted egg crabs were equally amazing in flavor, and if you dip some bread in the sauce, perfection!

Penang | Super Big Bowl Noodles 姓周桥大碗公面

Big Bowl Noodles 姓周桥大碗公面
Location: Chew Jetty, Georgetown, Penang

Trivia: Chew Jetty is in the area of Weld Quay. It is the port of Penang in the British colonial times and now part of UNESCO's World Heritage Site.

1. Big Bowl Noodle, Score: 7.5/10
Big bowl of spicy soup noodles where you can opt for your spiciness level from level 1 to 20x. Variety of sides to choose from ranging from beef, pork, seafood, etc. 1 person's portion will come in a normal bowl but if you ordered a 2 person's portion and above, yo will get a huge bowl presentation.

We ordered a 1 person's bowl with beef and 1x spicy level, not spicy at all.
Then we ordered a 2 person's portion with seafood and 5x spicy level, just nice for us.

The noodles are springy, the soup is savoury and spicy and the seafood, vege and beef are generously given.

2. Braised Pork Belly, Score: 8/10
The boss said if the meat does not melt in your mouth, money back guarantee. The taste is very nice, slightly spicy and it really melts in our mouth, so couldn't claim back our money. A must try dish.

Environment cozy and nice. They have pictures of customers pasted on the walls. They even provide phone charging points.
Service is excellent, food is served in 10 minutes.
The price is slightly on the high side.
