Chipata to Lilongwe, Malawi.

#Lilongwe #Malawi #Chipata
Malawi is Zambias neighbour to the east. And beyond just a border, we share a lot of culture and have a very healthy relationship.

I visited Lilongwe on a nice Saturday in June 2019, and spent time with my friend Duncan, before getting back later that evening.

As you can see in the video, there was a lot of post election violence at that time, and Malawi decided to go for fresh elections, and at the time of posting, Dr Lazarus Chikwera has won the presidency much to joy of the Malawians.

The Streets of Lilongwe, Malawi

Welcome to episode 2 of the streets, this time we were in Lilongwe, Malawi.

Lilongwe is the administrative capital of the country but all the economic activities take place in Blantyre the economic hub of Malawi.

Lilongwe is very underdeveloped, there's lot's construction happening in the streets of Lilongwe to try and develop the city

There isn't much to do in Lilongwe in terms tourism except for typical safari excursion and you can visit the markets of course

In terms of safety it's pretty safe but don't move around at night by yourself.

In conclusion please visit Lilongwe while you're in Malawi even if it's for a day
