我製作這段視頻內的照片、短片，全部均是多次到訪位處溫哥華靠堆填而成的格蘭維爾（半）島 Granville Island in Vancouver 拍攝。由加拿大聯邦政府擁有的格蘭維爾島前身是一個工業區，廢棄的廠房鐵路原本遍佈街頭巷尾，逐漸變身成富有藝術氣息的景點。島上有多間餐廳、藝廊、藝術家工作室、特式商店、紀念品店、劇場、酒店、啤酒廠、水上活動中心、兒童水上樂園和遊樂場，還有內設多元化美食廣場的漁、農、烘焙產品公眾購物市場，故深受遊客和本地居民歡迎。來此用餐並渡過美好時光，欣賞海景和對岸溫市中心景色、格蘭維爾橋，購買手信和觀看街頭藝人表演，更可順道遠觀巴西藝術家Os Gemeos在水泥廠內的巨型藝術作品呢！????
This video《TODAY》was formed by photos and videos I took on my several visits to Granville Island in Vancouver, B.C. , Canada. Granville Island is owned by Federal Government of Canada. Almost 760,000 cubic metres (1,000,000 cu yd) of fill was dredged largely by a man named Alvin Kingston, from the surrounding waters of False Creek to create the island ( peninsula ) under the Granville Street Bridge. The peninsula has been an industrial area but gradually beomes a popular tourist attraction that includes restaurants, art galleries, artist studios, theatre, souvenir shops, hotel, brewery, water sports rentals, water park and playground and a public market for produces, seafood and bakeries with a multicultrual food court. You can have a good time and good meal there and enjoy street performance and the beautifil scenery of Burrard Inlet and Downtown Vancouver. It appeared in the soundtrack of a motion picture, “Advance To The Rear”, with Glenn Ford and Stella Stevens.Ray Conniff may have had a release of the song, but that was not the biggest hit of the song. There were versions by The New Christy Minstrels, The Brothers Four, Roy Clark, John Denver (several albums), and many, many other singers and groups.
