Unfortunately most people around the world don’t know much about Lithuania. In some ways this is a blessing - since the beautiful old towns and city centres of the country are never too busy in the same way as perhaps London, Paris, and Amsterdam. While its nice for residents and the tourists that DO know about Lithuania, I’m sure the country’s tourism organizations would love to change this.

So, if you are heading to the beaches of Palanga, the capital Vilnius, or the port city of Klaipeda here are things that tourists should know and watch out for when they visit Lithuania.
