My hardest day in the saddle. I was very close to giving up a few times on that day. Especially after I saw people collapsing next to me out of exhaustion, I was thinking is this worth it. The car with the clock was 2 times right behind me. But I never gave up and finally MADE IT!

Tour de France 2019 à Chalon-sur-Saône
Le 12 juillet 2019, Chalon-sur-Saône sera le site d’arrivée de la 7e étape du Tour de France.

Depuis le jeudi 25 octobre 2018, Chalon-sur Saône est devenue officiellement site d’arrivée de la 7e étape du Tour de France 2019. Les coureurs, en provenance de Belfort pour une étape longue de 230 km, devraient passer la ligne d’arrivée sur le quai Gambetta le vendredi 12 juillet aux alentours de 17h30. Le lendemain, ils reprendront la route du Tour à partir de Mâcon pour se rendre à Saint-Etienne.

Na de eerste rustdag voert de 11e etappe van de Tour de France van Albi naar Toulouse. Het parcours van 167 kilometer slingert door de uitlopers van de Pyreneeën. Hoewel het terrein zeker niet geheel vlak is, grijpen de rappe mannen hoogstwaarschijnlijk hun kans tijdens een massasprint in Toulouse. Volg Wessel via
