Laos is a tropical country in the heart of Indochina and was once known as ‘The realm of a million elephants’. Set amid mountains and surrounded by China, Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar, Laos lay undiscovered for many years but today it is gradually opening its doors and its dreamlike royal cities, contemplative temple complexes, mysterious plains and ethnic mountain villages are now accessible to all. The capital, Vientiane, originated at the point at which the first navigable section of the Mekong River joins with the Gulf Of Thailand, once an important trading route to South China. We travel north into the pure Asia of bygone times, a land full of adventure where there is little tourism, past many villages with small markets at the roadside and various temple complexes. Most of Laos consists of rugged mountain areas and only a small number of roads connect the country’s few large towns. We repeatedly pass through large valleys flanked by densely wooded mountain slopes until karst covered mountains appear and reveal yet another captivating landscape. Amid this romantic area on the banks of the Mekong River is a town that is one of Laos’ most impressive historic destinations, Luang Prabang, which became the official residence of the monarchy in 1453 and remained so for several centuries. Thirty five monasteries that accommodate around seven hundred monks as well as a thousand novices and also the city’s many splendid temples highlight the deep religious faith that determines the everyday life of Luang Prabang. Laos is one of the most fascinating countries in South East Asia: a sleepy paradise that is slowly awakening. It is a land trapped somewhere between age-old traditions and a modern way of life.

Maylanong Sixanon is also one of the most beautiful Laos women. She is also known as May and she is a professional singer. Maylanong Sixanon was born in Laos. She is a widely popular singer and her stunning looks contributed largely towards acquiring her status.

Annita Thivaphone is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful women in Laos. She was formerly a television host. Annita is now a singer, model, and spokeswoman she made her music debut in the track chocolate boy where she featured as a guest artist. She has done other tracks like the popularly known Remember.
6. Tik Keopasert
Tik Keopasert is a Laos Pop singer who is very popular. She was a former member of the group Princess but she left the group to make a debut of her singing career as a solo artist in 2010. Her first album was called 'new me'. Tik is currently signed under Indee records.

Chandaly Sitphaxay is a beautiful Laos beauty pageant who won the title, Miss Lux, back in 2004 and went ahead to represent Laos country in the same year’s Miss international pageant held in China that same year. Her stunning beauty is contributed to mostly by her cute face. She is also a professionally qualified doctor. She Graduated with a Medical Degree.
4. Mali Vilavanh
Mali Vilavanh is a beautiful Lao-French singer. She was born in Laos. She is very pretty and talented, one of the reasons she has made it in the list of top ten most beautiful women in Laos. She has a wide fan base and this is mostly because she started her career at a very tender age.

Filip Kulisev strives to find and photograph the most wonderful and unique sites of our planet for the benefit of all nature lovers in Slovakia and around the world. Through his photographs he has raised awareness of issues related to biodiversity and natural resources.
Filip Kulisev, Master QEP, FBIPP has provided material for more than 200 individual exhibitions in Slovakia and around the world. In 2013, he was selected for the “International Masters of Photography“ project in Las Vegas which featured the top ranking photographers of the world. He is the only Slovak to receive such an honor. He has been awarded various international certifications, including the Master QEP title, which is the highest European award for professional photographers. Kulisev became the first photographer from Central and Eastern Europe to be awarded the highest qualification and title of Fellow from the British Institute of Professional Photographers in London. He was also selected as European Landscape Photographer of the Year in 2012. Kulisev is the author of ten exclusive monographs which present the beauty and uniqueness of our planet’s various natural wonders.
Filip Kulisev’s work and publications are part of the collections of honorable personalities around the world, including Pope Francis, His Royal Highness Prince Charles, His Serene Highness Prince of Monaco Albert II, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Slovak President Andrej Kiska, UN secretary general António Guterres, Presidents of Uganda, French Polynesia, Kiribati and Palau, former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Beauty of LAOS / Traveling SE Asia with Stray
I had two weeks in Laos and made the most of my time there. From exploring caves, to staying with locals, wandering the jungle and exploring the Kuang Si waterfalls, this was one of the most beautiful countries I have visited and I cannot wait to go back!
