A quick guide to some of the things to do and attractions in the Lanzarote resort of Costa Teguise.
Costa Teguise is a great family resort or suitable for those who enjoy a relaxing holiday without too many loud bars, it has become a favourite of mine so much so I've stayed there more times than any other resort in the Canaries. It has great beaches, fairly close to the airport and central on the island meaning that you aren't too far from all the other attractions outside of the resort. This video however is all about the places to visit in Costa Teguise itself.

Drive From Arrecife Airport in Lanzarote
A short drive around the roads of the Arrecife airport in Lanzarote. From the car park in the International terminal (T1) around until joining the dual carriageway in the direction of Arrecife & Costa Teguise.
Please remember that the main road has priority, you must give way and wait for a gap in the traffic before joining.

As my adventure begins, I find myself at the Lanzarote Airport, ready to check-in for my flight to Birmingham. Unfortunately, luck seems to be against me as only one check-in desk is open, resulting in a long and frustrating wait. With countless fellow passengers also eager to begin their journeys, the queue slowly inches forward, testing my patience. The process takes over an hour, but I maintain a positive attitude, excited for what lies ahead.
Once through the check-in process, I make my way to the security checkpoint and into the departures area. Despite the time-consuming check-in, I'm left with limited time before my flight's departure. Adrenaline kicks in as I navigate through the bustling Arrecife Airport, ensuring I don't miss my gate.
Upon entering the departure lounge, I'm greeted by a spacious and modern area designed to cater to the needs of travelers. The lounge is well-lit and showcases Lanzarote's unique charm through its architectural elements, with local artwork and volcanic-inspired designs adorning the walls.
To satisfy hunger pangs, a wide variety of dining options awaits. Whether you crave a quick bite or a leisurely meal, the departure lounge offers a range of restaurants, cafes, and fast-food outlets. From traditional Canarian cuisine to international flavors, there's something to suit every palate. I take this opportunity to grab a delicious sandwich and a refreshing drink to keep me energized for the journey ahead.
As I explore the departure lounge further, I notice an array of duty-free shops. From cosmetics and fragrances to fashion and electronics, the shops offer an excellent opportunity to indulge in some last-minute shopping or pick up souvenirs to remember the trip.
Before I know it, the boarding announcement for my flight is made. I bid farewell to the departure lounge, filled with a mix of anticipation and a tinge of nostalgia for the memorable moments spent within its walls.
