Belgium is a small and densely populated country covering an area of 11,787 sq miles (the size of the state of Maryland) and has a population of 11.5 million.
60% of the Belgian population speak Dutch (often referred to as Flemish), and 40% of the population speak French.
And English is spoken as a second (or is it a 3rd?) language by nearly a third of the population.
