Right in the first couple of weeks after delivery of Greatcircle in Bordeaux the cat was tested in some challenging conditions. Flying from Gibraltar to Ibiza with over 50 knots of wind in the back. May have broken the all time speed record with a Lagoon with 27,2 knots....
Very happy to have an experienced skipper on board in the beginning so we could experience how well the 52S handles even in conditions like this.
Since then Greatcircle has been cruising the Med and we recently decided to join the ARC at the end of 2019.

We recently bought a new boat, a new model Outremer that is announced at Boot Düsseldorf January 2020. After 1 year on a L39 and almost 3 years on the L52S we now want to make a next step to a performance cat.
The new boat will be delivered in 2021 so we're selling the current Greatcircle somewhere this year while sailing in from Saint Lucia to Boston. Time and place of delivery is open for discussion. Greatcircle is one of a handful 3-cabin version of the Lagoon 52 Sportop model worldwide and is fully equipped with A/C, genset, tenderlift, water maker, Code 0, Wingaker, double freezer/fridge, dish washer and everything you need to be sailing really well in great comfort.
The history of the boat is of course very transparent, you can watch the weekly episodes over the last 3 years.

He was also the diver that almost had his fins nibbled on :-) We met Nim and Fabiola while they were off charter waiting out the lockdowns in St. Croix. They are two super awesome and fun people. We had to pause our around-the-world voyage in the USVI due to the border closures in the Azores. We wanted to be doing a transatlantic passage at this time, but we made the best of it by hanging out with cruising and charter catamarans in the crystal clear blue waters of STX (St. Croix, USVI).

Getting ready for the new season - Sailing Greatcircle (ep.106)
I have to admit that waiting is not my prime virtue. We managed to get back to Greatcircle early March but we still have to wait for stuff before we can sail out again. We try to fill the time as useful as possible and our friends in the marina try their utmost to inspire us with their never ending busybusyness. Bare with us as we hope to be testing our brand new 235m2 Wingaker towards Malta in next episode (if we ever receive it....)
