LJUBLJANA CITY TOUR (TRAVEL GUIDE FOR SLOVENIA'S CAPITAL)
In our Ljubljana city tour, we explore Slovenia's capital city. Known as the dragon city, Ljubljana has picturesque bridges, a castle, and an exciting market.
As soon as we arrived in Ljubljana, we had lunch at Tokyo Piknik. The restaurant has a great outdoor terrace along the bank of the river. After lunch, we made our way to Prešeren Square.
Prešeren Square is the main square in Ljubljana. From the square, we could see the Franciscan Church of the Annunciation with its beautiful pink facade, the Triple Bridge, and a statue of the poet France Prešeren.
After leaving the square we got amazing gelato from Vigo and wandered around the Robba Fountain which stands in front of the Ljubljana Town Hall. Not far from the fountain, we admired the Slovenian porcelain at Porcelain Catbriyur.
Walking a bit further down the street we stumbled upon the Ljubljana Cathedral with its detailed bronze sculptured doors. From the cathedral, we heard music coming from a nearby market. We strolled around the market taking in the sights and enjoying a craft beer from LOO-BLAH-NAH Craft Brewery.
After the market, we checked out two more of Ljubljana's bridges. The Butcher's Bridge and the Dragon Bridge. After a lot of walking, we made our way to Lolita for coffee and dessert. We enjoyed sitting on their terrace people watching while drinking coffee and eating cheesecake.
Our final stop of the day was to check out Metelkova Art Center. This area hosts art and festivals.
We really enjoyed our 24 hours in Ljubljana city exploring the Slovenian capital.

One day in Ljubljana, Slovenia (Walking Tour) | Things to do in Ljubljana, Slovenia | Ljubljana 4K
Ljubljana is the capital city of Slovenia. With a population of just 280,000, Ljubljana is one of the smallest capital cities in Europe.
Its architecture, history, charming cobbled streets, bridges, lovely cafés and restaurants make Ljubljana especially delightful.

I'M IN EUROPE NOW! Logan and I took a little day trip from our home in Italy to SLOVENIA! You guys, I was so impressed with this cute little city. We had no expectations going here (which I feel like is the best way to travel) and we were blown away with the delicious food, the rich history, and of course the kind people. I am so excited to come back here in the summer time and explore some of the beautiful mountains and lakes here.
