Come on a Saturday night walking tour of Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. Fremont Street Experience is an entertainment and gaming destination in the heart of Las Vegas. It is the 5 westernmost blocks of Fremont Street that was once known of Glitter Gulch. Fremont Street is home to El Cortez Hotel & Casino, The D Casino & Hotel, Fremont Hotel & Casino, Four Queens Hotel & Casino, Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel, Golden Nugget Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, and Circa Resort & Casino. Fremont Street dates back to 1905, the year Las Vegas was founded. In 1931, gambling license were issued to casinos on Fremont Street. It has been featured in many movies and television shows over the years. In 1994, the Fremont Street Experience was built as a pedestrian mall and attraction. Fremont Street is the second most famous street in Las Vegas only behind Las Vegas Boulevard.

The walk starts at the newly opened Resorts World Hotel & Casino on the northern part of the strip and went all the way south to MGM Grand then back north from New York New York to Fashion Show Mall.
The Las Vegas Strip is a 4.2 miles (6.8 km) stretch of South Las Vegas Boulevard in Clark County, Nevada. The Strip is most famous for its upscale resort hotels and casinos, gambling floors, shopping, restaurants, and performance venues for music, comedy and circus-style acts.

In 1994, the Fremont Street Experience was built as a pedestrian mall and attraction. It is home to the SlotZilla Zipline Las Vegas. On Fremont Street, there are free nightly cover bands and DJ on three stages along the Fremont Street Experience. Fremont Street draws a huge crowd every weekend and it is the second most famous street in all of Las Vegas only behind Las Vegas Boulevard. On this night was the first Friday of February 2024 on Fremont Street. Velvet Elvis, Alter Ego, and Monroy Band was playing on the three Fremont Street stages. February is a big month in Las Vegas with Super Bowl LVIII game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday February 11th.

LAS VEGAS STRIP: Las Vegas Strip Walking Tour | Day and Night | Fremont Street Experience
Cinematic Las Vegas Strip walking tour at night starting from the hotel room in Wynn hotel in Las Vegas continuing the Las Vegas Strip southwards via the Venetian hotel to the Bellagio hotel with the famous and spectacular Fountains of Bellagio shows which is famous for Las Vegas. Afterwards the Las Vegas Strip City tour continues back north along the Las Vegas Strip to the Wynn hotel and to Las Vegas Downtown exploring the Fremont Street experience with lots of Las Vegas Nightlife insights including the Fremont Street Zipline at night. And last but not least, the Las Vegas strip tour continues during the day. Including some insights of the pool village of Wynn hotel. This was our 5th and definitely not our last visit in fabulous Las Vegas. Luckily the next one is already planned. ????

Walking Downtown Las Vegas - Fremont Street Experience
I walk through the Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas. It is five blocks long with casinos, buskers, entertainers, and musicians. It offers a much different experience of Las Vegas from the Las Vegas Strip. It also features the Viva Vision Light Show, a large LED screen covering the entire pedestrian promenade.

Walking the dodgy end. I take a walk from Fremont Street, Downtown Vegas through some sketchy-looking neighborhoods to the Vegas Strip.
The walk takes you along South Las Vegas Boulevard towards the ‘glamorous’ part of the Las Vegas Strip.
On the way, you pass plenty of homeless people, bail bond offices, tattoo shops, pawn shops, and of course, wedding chapels.
It was safe to walk during the day although there are parts that wouldn’t seem so good at night.

Downtown Fremont Street? Day or night?
Downtown Las Vegas, Fremont Street, Old Vegas... Whatever you choose to call it, most every one will tell you to only go at night, but the truth is, there is so much you can do in Downtown Las Vegas at any hour of the day. Fremont Street itself is always entertaining and just walking through all the hotels in the Fremont Street Experience is fun enough. Every thing is cheaper down in Old Vegas, but cheaper doesn't mean it's bad. It is so historic and at times you literally feel like you are back in the 1900's. Discover all the amazing restaurants, bars, museums, casinos, and even wander off to Fremont East for something that most locals prefer.

But in the last few years the area has seen a resurgence in popularity and is now a must-see destination when you're in Vegas. WE visit beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada. We spend an evening on Fremont Street (The Fremont Experience), watching the interesting people and the amazing hourly light show. Nearby Hoover Dam is an architectural wonder. Lake Mead is beautiful. Also, a drive down Las Vegas Boulevard.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn at the south end of the strip.

One night in Vegas I took a stroll downtown to check out Fremont Street.
Despite having been to Vegas 6th times before, I had never explored Fremont St.
I was surprised by the vibe I found. A lot of fun, an ever changing ambiance and atmosphere thanks to the huge LED diplay-ceiling, many stages with different kinds of entertainment and plenty of bars along the street.
Fully enclosed and crowded with both buzzed and just simply curious people, this is a place worth visiting at least once while in Vegas. See for yourself :)
