Kwajalein: One Last Time
After sadly moving away from Kwajalein, I got one last chance to visit my island for two weeks.
WWII Shipwrecks of Kwajalein Lagoon
Back in 1996, we traveled to the US Missile Testing Grounds of Kwajalein Lagoon in the Marshall Islands to explore many of the WWII Shipwrecks that litter the lagoon including the German Battleship called the Prinz Eugen... here is what we found.

From the battle theater of the Atlantic, to the nuclear tests of Bikini Atoll, the German Cruiser Prinz Eugen found her final resting place here on Kwajalein Atoll. Pushed aground because the ship was too radioactive to fix a leak, she has since become a popular dive location. Join Brian, Merri, Evan, and myself on this amazing dive where we explore the remains of what is left of this great ship.

North Loi Wreck-Japanese Fishing Vessel WW2 era
Japanese fishing vessel in the North Loi Island lagoon of Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands. Wooden with reinforced steel. Fishing storage tanks can be seen in the squared hatches. The vessel is now home to a variety of marine life including a large anemone and giant clams.
