This is a walking tour of the beach and Old Town of Korcula, Croatia taken in June 2022. The video will start on the foot ferry to Korcula from Orebic. Then the walk starts from the beaches going through Plaza Ispod Duvana and Luka Korculanska. Afterwards, walking through the Old Town of Korcula. This island is a place I wish I had more time to explore, it will definitely be on my next trip spending at least a few days in.

Korcula Croatia | Cinematic EPIC Video 4K
The sixth-largest island in Croatia, Korcula is 20 miles long and rather narrow, between 4 and 5 miles wide on average. This island is known for its dense forest and the ancient Greeks called the island Black Korcula (Kerkyra melaina) for this reason.

Prižba koja se nalazi na južnoj strani otoka Korčule, smještana na obali uz samo more u duljini od 4 km. Udaljena je 4 km od Brne, 8 km od Smokvice, 10 km od mjesta Blato, 17 km od Vele Luke te 40 km od grada Korčule.

Prizba is a small tourist settlement that developed on the southern shore of the island of Korcula. It is a part of the municipality of Blato. The town of Blato is located 10 kilometers from Prizba and Vela Luka, the main ferry port that connects the island of Korcula with the coastal town of Split on the mainland, is located 14 kilometers from Prizba.

Lumbarda is a village located at the end of the island, 6 kilometers East from the Town of Korčula. It has more than 1,000 inhabitants and consists of several hamlets scattered along the coast, small coves, and hills that are surrounded by vast fields of vineyards. Lumbarda will most certainly delight you with its beauty, especially its sandy beaches. Archaeological remains show that Greeks were the first to establish these agricultural settlements, with artifacts dating from the 4th century BC, which you can see in the City Museum of Korčula, the most important of which is the Psephism of Lumbarda. In Lumbarda, you can see beautiful villas dating from the 16th century, built as summer residences of wealthy families from Korčula. This place is also famous for its many churches and chapels, some dating back to1774.
For centuries residents of Lumbarda have been engaged in fishing and agriculture, particularly winemaking. There are two distinct varieties of cultivated grapevine - Plavac and Grk. Therefore, when you come to Lumbarda, treat yourself to these famous wines. Lumbarda is also famous for stone cutting and was the birthplace of two famous sculptors, Frano Kršinić and Ivo Lozica. Today the people of Lumbarda are orientated toward tourism.
