[4K] Florida Keys USA Scenic Drive - Islamorada to Key West via A1A Highway Road Trip
The Florida Keys are a coral cay archipelago located off the southern coast of Florida, forming the southernmost part of the continental United States. They begin at the southeastern coast of the Florida peninsula, about 15 miles south of Miami, and extend in a gentle arc south-southwest and then westward to Key West, the westernmost of the inhabited islands, and on to the uninhabited Dry Tortugas. The islands lie along the Florida Straits, dividing the Atlantic Ocean to the east from the Gulf of Mexico to the northwest, and defining one edge of Florida Bay. At the nearest point, the southern part of Key West is just 90 miles from Cuba.
One of the longest bridges when it was built, the Seven Mile Bridge connects Knight's Key (part of the city of Marathon in the Middle Keys) to Little Duck Key in the Lower Keys. Among the longest bridges in existence when it was built, it is part of the Overseas Highway in the Keys, which is part of the 2,369-mile U.S. Route 1.

We took a trip down to the bottom of Florida/The United States for the weekend. It was a great time for us to visit for the first time because hotel costs were low and the crowds were minimal due to concerns over coronavirus. It gave us an opportunity to check out two hotels Silver Palms Inn and Havana Cabana.

Key West, Florida Travel Vlog - Day 1 of Our Weekend Getaway
Key West Florida holds a special place in my family's heart. We have visited there numerous times and have made many great memories to look back on! In this video, I will be sharing with you Day 1 of our Key West, Florida Travel Vlog and weekend getaway!
This trip was going to be our family vacation to Key West for 2020!
We started our travels at my home in Titusville, Florida and made the 6-hour road trip to Key West. The drive across the Keys is always amazing!
After arriving in Key West, we checked into our first hotel and then went downtown to see Key West in the evening.
We went to the marina to see all of the boats but were also able to get a glimpse of a beautiful sunset!
We ate dinner at the Conch Republic Seafood Company and had an amazing meal after a long day of travel.
After, dinner we made our way to Duval Street where we people watched as well as got ice cream at our favorite ice cream place in Key West, Matteessen's!
I was able to vlog most of our trip and look forward to sharing the rest of our travels with you! Check out the other days of our weekend getaway to see all of our adventures!

KEY WEST Travel Vlog | Weekend Trip: Palm Beach to Florida Keys | Ep 3
We took a road trip down to Key West to spend a long weekend exploring the island. It’s been 8 years since we were last there and we had a blast. We packed a lot of sightseeing, food and key lime pie in 4 days. Come with us as we drive on the 7 Mile Bridge, make a quick coffee stop at Baby’s Coffee, explore Key West, visit the Ernest Hemingway House, catch the sunset at Mallory Square, stop by the Key West Aquarium, take a photo at the Southernmost Point and have a pool day at our hotel Havana Cabana. We also visited some of the best restaurants like Blue Heaven, La Grignote, Santiago’s Bodega, Matt’s Stock Island and El Meson de Pepe. Of course you can’t leave Key West without trying their famous Key Lime Pie. We sampled the top 4 and picked our champion. We will certainly be returning soon.
