I have got to say that I was very impressed by the high standard, number and variation of the exhibits that were on show to the public. Bridport & District Model Railway Society Beaminster Exhibition Held On Saturday 11th January 2020
This years Bridport Model Railway Society Winter Exhibition was held as usual at the Town Hall in Beaminster, Dorset. The show was held on Saturday 11th January 2020, not a good day for weather but great for looking at a really interesting selection of layouts. Well done to the organisers and exhibitors. The 15th Annual Cale Rail & Gartell Railway 2020 Model Railway Exhibition Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th February 2020. As usual the exhibition was held at the Gartell Light Railway near Templecombe in Somerset. This year the organisers really pushed the boat out, what a fantastic show. This years Southampton Model Railway Exhibition was held at the Barton Peveril College on Sat 25th & Sun 26th January 2020.
Shepton Mallet Narrow Gauge Model Railway Exhibition On Saturday 18th Feb 2017 (Part 1)
I spent a very interesting day at the 25th and last Narrow Gauge Southwest railway exhibition at Shepton Mallet in Somerset. As usual this was held at the Whitstone School, Charlton Road. The show was packed with exhibits all to a very high standard. This video highlights St Brayden, there will be more uploads during the next week.
Beaminster Model Railway Show Saturday 12th January 2019
I visited Beaminster on Saturday 12th January 2019 to have a look around the Model Railway Show which was held in the Town Hall. A big thank you must go to the Bridport & District Model Railway Society who put a terrific show. Layouts included in the video are:-

West Camel Model Railway Society Christmas Railway Exhibition 2018 Recorded On A DJI Osmo Pocket
The West Camel Model Railway Society Christmas Model Railway Exhibition was held on Saturday 29th December 2018 at the Davis Hall, Howell Hill. The entire video was recorded on a new DJI Osmo Pocket 3 axis gimbal in 4k. The Pocket was set the auto and used more or less straight from the box.
Coombe Hill Railway Lockdown Specials Featuring The Innisfail Fowler & New Coaches 10th Nov 2020
The Coombe Hill Railway (CHR) was open for a short while on Tuesday 10th November 2020. Two trains were running the first being the Innisfail 0-6-2 Fowler steam loco which was hauling a unique set of five matching coaches. The other train was a vintage GRS Hunslet 0-4-0 diesel locomotive pulling three Lynton and Barnstaple coaches. The loco has been recently overhauled, fitted with radio control and new batteries.
Please note that the CHR management were complying fully with Covid-19 rules while operating the trains.
Christchurch Model Railway Club Model Rail Exhibition Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th October 2019
This years Christchurch Model Rail Club Model Rail Exhibition was held at the Bournemouth School For Girls on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th October.The standard through out the show was very high with some very interesting layouts. If I had to pick a winner it would have to be Some Where In France, a truly amazing view of the trenches during the First World War.
Unfortunately due to the fact that I didn't manage to get to the show until 14:30 on the Sunday I wasn't able to capture all of the layouts for my video. Thanks to all of the exhibitors and to the Christchurch Model Railway Club for putting on a fantastic show.

Tony Sant Quarry Hunslet Takes The Milk Train Around The Coombe Hill Railway During April 2020
Back in July 2007 the management of the Village Railway decided to purchase a new locomotive from Tony Sant of the Finescale Engineering in Leamington Spa.The loco in question was a Betty class large quarry Hunslet was which originally produced for the Trefor Granite Co. Anyway for what ever reason this was later sold to the Coombe Hill Railway where it stayed until April 2020. After a test run with the milk train the quarry Hunslet is now back with the Village railway......

The 12th Annual Gartell Model Railway Exhibition 12th February 2017
I paid a visit to he Gartell Light Railway on Sunday 12th February where they were hosting the 12th Annual Model Railway Exhibition in association with CaleRail. As usual all the exhibits were to a very high standard ranging from N Gauge to O Gauge and in between. The show was held over Saturday and Sunday and well attended. The Gartell Light Railway ran a limited service over the weekend.

Coombe Hill Railway Christmas 2019 Running Day Featuring Double Headed R/C Mamod Boulton Diesels
Once again it's time for The Coombe Hill Railway Christmas Running Day this year being held on Sunday 15th December 2019. As well as a good selection of 32mm steam locomotives a couple of R/C Mamod Boulton diesel locomotives are double headed pulling a six coach train. At the end of the video as dusk fell a last train service ran with lights on, very atmospheric!
