TOP 5: L.A., ANAHEIM & ATLANTA - GUEST EXPERTS ON THINGS TO DO, RESTAURANTS | Ep. 64: Game Plan 14

This week's episode is in honor of Lucy.

We've given our opinions on the attractions & best food in Southern California & Metro Atlanta already as part of our Game Plan series. This week, we're getting expert opinions from people who know those areas better than we do!

If anyone knows Disney well, it's Debbie Lazaga. She was Daddy's longtime office teammate at WTMJ and the company's resident Disney-head. She has often experienced Disneyland, and gives her take on what to do, where to eat and more in the Magic Kingdom and far beyond, including her take on our future Brewers-Angels road game which we'll be going to.

CNN's John Lynch has lived in Atlanta for decades. He has worked besides some of the most knowledgable sports experts around, and can hold his own in that department as well. He gives his homegrown tips on The ATL and what/where to check out.

Where to follow them on social media:

The series:
Our daddy-and-son thing is taking Brewers road trips, exploring, learning & having fun doing it! Just not during the COVID-19 pandemic. But since we can't travel, we can game plan future travels for all the cities with the 19 stadiums where little man hasn't seen Brewers games.

So, we're doing The Game Plan, a new series with the top 5 attractions and top 5 restaurants we want to check out in each city.

It's to help you start your game planning for when we all CAN travel!

The full Game Plan series:

COMMENT:
- What do YOU love to do, & where do you love to eat, in Atlanta & Southern California?

NOTE: Please stay safe during the coronavirus pandemic, but try and help small businesses like local restaurants with delivery & take out!

(All business mentions are unsolicited and unpaid.)

Debbie's picks:
- Angel Stadium:
- Black Bear Diner:
- Disneyland:
- Griffith Observatory:
- Hollywood Sign:
- In-n-Out Burger:
John's picks:
- Antico:
- College Football Hall of Fame:
- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park:
- Fox Theatre:
- Hudson Grille:
- Ray's on the River:
- Scalini's:
- Stone Mountain Park:
- Truist Park:
- Waffle House:

NOTE: Since the taping of this episode, we have learned more about Stone Mountain, including the fact that it has a very large Confederate monument, a stories-tall rock carving on one of its sides which, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, the KKK helped fund. Perhaps that is why Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. referred to it in his I Have a Dream speech. We know John well enough to know his heart is not one filled with racism, and his sharing of Stone Mountain Park has innocent intent. But we know awareness of these issues involves a conversation that this nation is currently holding about what to do regarding Confederate legacy and what it should be in this country. Some reading on the issue:
