NEAR MINIMUMS | SNOWY, ICY Landing at Jackson Hole | SUPER ROUGH
Join me on this ONCE IN A LIFETIME (for me) arrival into Jackson Hole on board this E-jet. It was really low visibility, gusty winds and the airport was basically an ice rink. Enjoy!

This plane started it's day in Eagle, Colorado by flying to Denver, then to Los Angeles by making a stop in Salt Lake City. After flying between Los Angeles and Jackson Hole, it would continue on to Denver, then to Tucson where it would overnight, then fly right back out to San Francisco, on to Jackson Hole, then back to San Francisco over 17 hours late. It was scheduled to leave at about 2:50PM on the 5th but didn't leave till about 8:00AM the following day.

This was an interesting takeoff, my takeoff weight was to be below 131,600 lbs (the 737-800s MTOW is 175,000 )to be able to get off the runway at the high altitude. my performance calculations told me i would have about 180 ft left after takeoff and it was right.
