Top 5 Things About Living in Vietnam
After 2 years of living in Vietnam, we are moving away. The past couple years have been unforgettable. Besides the friends I have made, the food, and the traveling opportunities - these are my best things about living in Vietnam. For the most part, the list is made up of things that I didn't even consider when I decided to move to Vietnam. They are things or experiences that I can't get in North America.
Lucky for me, we are moving to China, so a lot of this list might still exist in my life. Expat living is the best.

I've been living in Vietnam for over a year now. People often ask me why do I live in Vietnam? Here's why:
First The weather. It is always very warm in Vietnam. No snow, no cold period, just warm sun all year long. There is a rainy season that last a couple weeks but just bring your rain coat and you are good. Vietnam really have the best weather.
Second reason is the cost. It is really cheap to live in Saigon. If you want to buy some food from the street vendors, a meal will cost you around 1$-2$ US. Nice meal with a waiter serving you start around 3$_ meal.Also, the appartement are really cheap. If you are looking for a room downtown, it will cost you about 5 millions Vietnamese Dong. thats roughly
US$250.
Finally the people. People in Ho chi minh city (saigon) are so nice. Everywhere you walk, people are welcoming always smilling and ready to help. I never felt out of place since im here. Vietnamese people are very friendly.
