JAPAN CONVENIENCE STORES - A CONBINI/KONBINI GUIDE! Looking for cheap food in Japan? Japan's Conbinis, or sometimes spelt as Konbinis (Family Mart, 7/11 and Lawson Station) provide travellers and tourists with a cheap alternative to eating out in restaurants or eating street food.

I absolutely love Conbinis! They are so different from Family Mart and 7/11 in other countries as they provide such a fantastic variety of both Japanese food and Western Food, from Onigiri (Seaweed Rice Triangle) to Egg Sandwiches and more.

In this video, First World Traveller takes a look around all 3 major Convenience store chains as well as the lesser known Mini Stop in Tokyo showing you how you can survive on a budget of 1,000 Yen per day (around $9-10 USD in July 2017.

Check out my second CONBINI video as I check out Lawson 100 Yen stores! -

Japanese Supermarket Food Haul! Yes, it's time to do a weekly food shop at a Japanese Supermarket, although I hope it'll last more than a week!

I set myself a budget of 3,000 Yen (about 26 USD) to buy some food to keep me going at my Workaway in terms of cooking proper meals rather than eating out. How does Supermarket food in Japan compare to Japanese Convenience stores, ie Family Mart, Lawson & 7/11?

You can check out my Japanese Conbini Videos in the Playlists below where I challenged myself to survive on 1000 Yen a day at regular Convenience Stores and 1000 Yen a week at Lawson 100 (Japanese 100 Yen store)

Asian supermarket haul featuring durian chips and Korean chicken sauce chips (2020) || Netherlands

Asian supermarket is always one of my favourite places to be. From various kinds of chips to beers and wines, it is a place so sacred for us Asians LOL! The view of the rice aisle is just more than perfect and the ramyeon aisle is where all my moneys goes in, which by the way makes me want to invest in ramyeon LMAO. The durian chips called me to try it and so was the Korean chicken sauce chips, however with the heavy heart I said Next time hahahaha lol.
