JAPAN - SEE WHAT I SEE | Cinematic Travel Video

Thank you so much for watching! This video has been in works for about a year now... Partly because I was juggling working full time, music and editing (a few different projects).

This is by far the project I am most proud of. I came up with the concept for the intro on my last two days in Japan after meeting @Chanrinak at a film makers meet up. I stayed up until about 5am in my hostel planning the shoot and writing the dialog (BTS coming soon).

My videography and film making isn't the greatest out there, but I am proud to make something meaningful and unique to me.

I hope you enjoyed this take of Japan. Please make sure you check out the amazing artists which helped me put this video together. And if you like this video please share it around using some promo material I made for Instagram.

Follow your heart compass | Cinematic Japan

Today is my 26th birthday. Thank you, father and mother, for giving birth to me. And thanks to all of you, I have been able to live this long. Thank you so much.

This video is a Japanese cinematic video that I shot over the past two years since I became a filmmaker. This corona forced me to travel around my country, which I wasn't very interested in at first, but by experiencing a country I didn't know, I was able to respect and love it. I hope that the beauty of Japan, which is wonderful even from a global perspective, will be conveyed to everyone in the world. Thank you.

If you are traveling to Japan, don't forget to get a JR (Japan Rail) Pass. It's the best way to get around the country and honestly well worth the money! You can find it here:

Project Description
This is a short travel video of my 2 1/2 week trip around Japan in late November 2016. Japan is an amazing country with a unique coexistence between the old and the new that sometimes boggles the mind of a foreigner. At its heart lies a beautiful country, filled with generous and polite people always willing to help a lost stranger with map reading issues.

During my brief visit, I passed through Tokyo, Shirahama, Kumano Kodo, Koya San, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and some strange and wonderful places in between. I hope you enjoy the video I've made of this little journey and many thanks to all the people I met along the way!

Journey through Japan cinematic travel film - BMPCC 4k

#travelfilm #pocket4k #japantravel
I finally got around to editing my footage from my trip to Japan back in 2019 into a film emulation style cinematic travel film. Shot all on BMPCC 4k, the pocket really blew me away at this time. It rained hard some days and it got wet but kept on kicking. Mostly on a zhiyun crane, i just got around with a ton of canon batteries for long days of shooting. Japan is a beautiful place and I wish I could go back for a while and capture more of its charm. Please leave any questions in the comments!

Kyoto, Japan | a7iii Cinematic Travel Film

My family spent 4 days in Japan exploring Nagoya, a commercial manufacturing and shipping hub, and Kyoto, Japan's famously recognized cultural capital.

Both cities were culturally unique - and despite the fact that Nagoya was a lot less touristy, its cuisine offerings were nothing short of mouth-watering. Kyoto had become increasingly commercialized, which was no surprise considering the throngs of people who flock to the famous few attractions like Fushimi Inari and the Kiyomizu-dera temple.

This video documents our short 4 day journey through the many cultural wonders of Japan, not forgetting the great food we tried along the way. Thank you for watching!

JAPAN | Travel Film

Japan has always been on my bucket list and it was all I have ever expected, and so much more! I was in awe the whole trip, thinking how one country could be so progressive whilst not losing their cultural heritage. What struck me the most was their culture, how respectful the people are, and of course, the food!

I hope this video convinces you to visit this wonderful country and have as much fun and enjoyment as I did.

JAPAN TRAVEL FILM

We spent two weeks in Japan and immediately fell in love with this amazing country. We were overwhelmed by the friendly japanese people and the incredible culture of the land of the rising sun. From Tokyo to Kyoto and from Osaka to Okinawa, this country surprised us every single day again.
We were so happy to get a clear view of the stunning Mt. Fuji, caught a short glimpse of a Geisha in Kyoto, or enjoyed the sun at the tropical beaches of Miyakojima and Okinawa.

Who Are You To Tell A Story? | Cinematic Travel Film

I know we're all on our own individual journeys, but I sure wish I could speed up the process sometime :/

Anyway, thank you to the many people who helped me believe in myself and/or made life in SLC home!

Special thanks to my patient friends who watched muddled drafts of this video before I knew what I was trying to say.

My last thank you goes to Sam Newton, Chase Vikin, and Alex Romo, for hanging with me & helping shoot this video.
