Exploring The PINK CITY Of India (Jaipur India Travel Vlog)
What a beautiful city! Jaipur, known as the Pink City has some incredible sights. In this travel vlog, we will explore Jaipur's city palace and the famous Hawa Mahal, Jaipur's most iconic building. The city palace is a masterpiece and was the home of the ruler of the Jaipur kingdom and home to its government. The Hawa Mahal or the 'Palace Of The Winds', located in the heart of the Pink City of Jaipur in Rajasthan India, is one of the most famous tourist attractions here. With its 5 stories and many many windows it is a real eye-catcher.
We were really taken aback by Jaipur and had a lot of fun visiting the Pink City. I took day trip from Delhi to Jaipur, India- I went to Amber Fort/Palace, Panna Meena Ka Kund, Jantar Mantar Sundial, and City Palace.
I did not have any problems as solo female traveler in India. I used Pioneer Holiday to book my tour.

I went to explore Jaipur earlier this year as a backpacker and saw places like Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Amer Fort, ate some traditional Rajasthani food at Choki Dhani and did some shopping! This was my third time visiting Jaipur and everything was explored only in 24 Hours.
I also stayed at the Hostel for the first time at Hostel Lostouse (Booked through Airbnb). It was a wonderful experience to be alone only accompanied by a female friend for the first time and to do everything on budget.

Travel to Jaipur, India - the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Rajasthan. Jaipur is also referred to as the Pink City.
Jaipur is beautiful, aesthetic and breath taking. Explore the grand Aber Fort, City Palace, and other wonders of the Pink City.
This city is steeped in History, culture and has delicious food.
I was fortunate to visit Jaipur & Amer in November, 2018.
Things to do in Jaipur include:
1. Visit Amer/ Amber Fort - a 16th century hilltop fort and palace
2. Visit Hawa Mahal - a pink sandstone building
3. City Palace - a lavish Jaipur 1700s palace complex and museum
4. Jantar Mantar - the largest stone astronomical observatory in the World
5. Sightseeing at Jal Mahal or Water Palace - a unique fort situated on Mansagar Lake
6. Stroll through Nahargarh Fort - combo of Indian and European architectural palace that offers a picturesque view of the entire City.
7. Panna Meena Ka Kund- one of the many famous stepwells that still stand in the western part of India
8. Shopping at Pink City, Jaipur
9. Get delicious Rajasthani cuisine like Laal Maas, Ghewar, Dal, Mirchi Bada, etc. (Don't forget to visit LMB).

The following morning I joined him on a short tour of Jaipur on his car. First we went to have the tastiest lassi ever at a 74 year-old lassi shop (Lassiwala). We then visited the impressive Maharaja ki Chhatri, also known as Gaitor Tombs.
Janu told us about his brave life and why in India everything is possible.
