How to Get a US J2 Visa? requirements, eligibility, fee, processing time
The United States is a popular destination for J-1 exchange visitors who bring their families. J-2 visas are for spouses or children under 21 who are dependent on them. During the J-1 visitor program, dependents can stay in the United States with J-2 status.
During the application process for J-1 visas, J-1 visitors provide information about their J-2 dependents.
In order to work in the United States, J-2 visa holders must obtain an Employment Authorization Document from the Department of Homeland Security. The current processing time for EAD cards is 90 to 120 days.
