In this vlog style travel documentary, I visit Italy after the country reopened to tourism. After exploring the streets of Venice, I drive towards the spectacular Dolomites mountains, where I spend most of my time. Finally, I finish the journey with a quick visit to Milan.
In this short film, I show you some of the highlights of this trip, and hope to give you an impression what it’s like to travel again after (Covid-19) lockdown.
Italy is one of the most popular places to visit in Europe, and was also among the hardest hit countries on the continent by the coronavirus outbreak (especially the North). The country's economy relies heavily on tourism, and many Italians' livelihoods depend on it. Like elsewhere, however, Italy is also trying to find a balance between public health and the economy.

The Dolomites in Italy combine a total of nine mountain groups and offer some of the most dramatic and diverse alpine scenery in the world. The variety in landscape is sometimes just mind boggling. You turn one corner, and find yourself in a completely different environment.

The Dolomites are among my favorite mountain ranges in the world. This short aerial film (shot with a DJI Mavic 2 drone) shows some of the best places to visit in this unique part of our planet.
Highlights in this video: Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Lago (lake) di Braies, Lago di Sorapiss, Santa Magdalena, Seceda ridge, Cima Cadin (nicknamed 'Towers of Mordor'), Cinque Torri, Sassolungo, and a few more areas.

Burano Venice: Amazing Drone & Aerial Video Tour of (Burano island) Italy 4k
On one of the islands in the Venetian lagoon sits Burano Island, one of the ten most colorful settlements in all of Italy and a center for lace production. Burano Venezia, where notable artists like Pino Donaggio, Remigio Barbaro, and Baldassare Galuppi were born, served as the model for Buranella Art.
One of the four islands in the lagoon of Venice, Burano is connected to the island of Mazzorbo by a bridge. The Burano lace, a centuries-old needlework, and the traditional vividly colored cottages of the region are what make them famous.
The only square in Burano Venice, Piazza Baldassare Galuppi, is the center of the community. It is named for the famous composer from the eighteenth century and is overlooked by the church of San Martino, which is currently the only place of worship on the island. Its bell tower, which has a sharp slope, is renowned. The Santa Maria delle Grazie church, also called the Church of the Capuchins, is close by and currently holds art exhibitions and other activities.
Being a fishing island, the native cuisine focuses on fish dishes, including spaghetti with clams, cuttlefish ink, and an abundance of fresh fish, particularly lagoon fish. The most popular is risotto di g, in which the broth in which the rice is cooked and beaten is created from g, a typical fish of the Venetian lagoon known as gudgeon across Italy. Bussolà, a yellow donut biscuit made of eggs, flour, and butter, is the traditional dessert of the village of Burano; it should not be mistaken with the bossolà of Chioggia, which is a doughnut toast. According to tradition, the wives of the fishermen who spent a lot of time away from home fishing prepared the bussolà. If the fishermen were unable to eat well, the biscuits offered would provide them all the energy they needed to deal with the marine life.

We want to show you the truth about Italy and how easy it is to experience real Italy without tourists. The Italian food is of course incredible but what about the other parts? This video will show you some of the must-do things in Italy. It gives alternatives to the touristy Cinque Terre in the form of Tellaro and Tivenga. Also we try making Italian pizza in a woodfire oven and visit a vineyard, filling up our wine from a petrol pump at Cantina Lunae.

We spent 3 days in the beautiful historical city of Venice, and even though it was busy, it was definitely worth the hype. We were here in mid-October so there were WAY fewer tourists but still A LOT - the good thing is that once you make the effort to take the side streets, you can find pockets of quiet areas where the locals hang out!

Our first stop in Italy is at the Earth Pyramids in South Tyrol a natural monument located in Ritten. Next, we take to Lago Di Braies, a beautiful blue/greenish water lake in the Prags Valley. Here we rent a wooden row boat and stop for a quick bit to eat. Then its off to the main and final attraction of the day The Three Peaks or Tre Time Di Lavaredo. Surrounded by Thunder storms we capture the sunsetting.

Our journey is in summertime (August) during coronavirus pandemic. We visited the beautiful Manarola during a few hours and went to Vigevano where we found Leonardo Da Vinci work place. We enjoyed our stay in both cities! We love Italy!

48 Hours In Italy With JSGC | Venice Vlog 2020
In today's video I head to Venice for my first holiday in 2020. I show what it is like travelling in Europe during a pandemic. I show how busy and what procedures are in place at Manchester Airport and Venice Marco Polo Airport, I also show my EasyJet flight from Manchester to Venice on flight EZY1863 and EZY1864 back. I take you through Venice, using the airport shuttle bus to P.Le Roma and taking the ATVO water taxi to Gigilo. I also go to Hard Rock Cafe in Venice, San Marco square, visiting the bridges, canals and shops as well as looking at a gondola ride. I also show you around my hotel, room 301 with a room tour of Hotel Ala in Venice. Enjoy the video! :-)
