HAGRIDS STRATEGY
For Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, the ideal visiting strategy involves balancing convenience and wait times. Early park admission offers a chance to join the queue before the park opens to regular guests, though this comes with the inconvenience of early arrival and waiting at the gate. However, Hagrid's is known for its morning unreliability, with frequent early delays.
An alternative strategy is to consider the Velocicoaster during early park admission, especially since it now includes express pass access, avoiding the long queues that form from mid-morning onward.
In contrast to the common recommendation of joining the queue in the last 20 minutes of park operation, a more reliable strategy might be to queue for Hagrid's between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. This timeframe is after the peak morning wait times and coincides with the highest wait times for other attractions, potentially reducing the relative waiting time for Hagrid's. While this goes against the typical advice of avoiding theme parks during mid-afternoon, it makes sense for this specific ride due to its unique wait time pattern.

Universal's Islands of Adventure Walking Tour March 2020 | Universal Orlando Resort [4K60]
Universal's Islands of Adventure (originally Universal Studios Islands of Adventure) is a theme park located in Orlando, Florida. It opened on May 28, 1999, along with CityWalk, as part of an expansion that converted Universal Studios Florida into the Universal Orlando Resort. Islands of Adventure is modeled after a journey of exploration, where guests embark on an adventure to visit a variety of themed islands. Initially, the park featured six islands. A seventh, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, was added in 2010, themed to the highly-successful Harry Potter franchise. It was Universal's largest investment since the resort's founding in 1990. The eighth island, Skull Island, opened on July 13, 2016 and is themed to the King Kong franchise. There were moments that the video did stop recording due to the camera over heating, but those don't hamper the overall walk through.
Filmed: Sunday, March 15th, 2020 at 2:40 pm. The weather at the time of filming was sunny with a temperature of 83F/28.33C with a dew point of 62F/16.66C. The humidity was 58% with a North wind at 6mph/9.656 kmh. The pressure was 30.15in/1021 millibars.
