Guys I have to be honest with you in this one. After visiting all 197 countries and thousands of cities around the world, I can say with 100% certainty that Port au Prince, Haiti, takes the crown as THE MOST DANGEROUS. Yes, more than Afghanistan, Somalia, Libya, Syria and Iraq COMBINED.
I've never experienced before what I just experienced in Haiti... 80% of the city is controlled by violent street gangs, and when we crossed the sketchy checkpoint to enter the biggest slum called Cite Soleil, we had to get permission from the gang-leading chief to enter. I can't make this stuff up.
I'm just glad that I made it out alive and am here to tell this story. My heart aches for the people in Haiti, who are living through this disastrous situation. I hope the country will return to its thriving days like it was a few decades ago. There is so much potential with stunning beaches, smiling faces, and Caribbean vibes.
Thanks for watching - it took my team of 4 and myself more than 3 weeks to get this story edited. My hope is that this video sparks conversations that contribute to a broader understanding and ultimately, a positive change for the future of Haiti.

The ongoing wave of gang violence, believed by many to be the most brutal in the city's history, has ravaged Port-au-Prince and left the local law enforcement struggling to cope with the overwhelming numbers and firepower of the gangs.

Haiti is a Caribbean country located on the western third of the Caribbean island of Hispaniola.
One of the dominating beauties of this country is that its north exits to the North Atlantic Ocean, while its southern parts boast the Caribbean Sea coastline.
And even though Haiti has had difficult years in the past and problematic history, its tourism industry has started improving since the 80s after its dramatic descent that occurred in the 60s.
This Caribbean country is slowly gaining the reputation of a tourist hot spot, with new resorts and luxurious facilities emerging quickly.
Overall generally speaking, Haiti is not a safe place to visit. Keep in mind that many people have reported that there are no safe places in Haiti. If you do visit, stick to maximum precaution measures.

Violence erupted following a coordinated jailbreak, and armed gangs have taken over airports and staged attacks across the country, leading to a state of emergency.
The situation is serious and unpredictable, with reports of gunfire exchanged at key locations. The U.S. Embassy has urged American citizens to leave Haiti immediately.
Air travel is currently restricted for travelers; however, some cruise lines continue to port in Haiti within secure areas that have been reported over 100 miles away from Port-au-Prince, where there is reported violence.
