Have you heard of wadi's in the Middle East? Or of beautiful Wadi Disah in Saudi Arabia? This was was a BIG road trip to make the journey from Tabuk to Wadi Disah and onwards that evening to AlUla. But wow was it worth it!

We began our Northern Saudi Road Trip by driving up the coast Al Wajh and then to Wadi Al Disah, a beautiful oasis in the middle of a canyon. Off-road 4x4 adventures ensued, and we found a great spot to camp - complete with camels!

Wadi Al-Disah, Saudi Arabia | امطار في وادي الديسة بالمملكة العربية السعودية
Join us on our trip to Wadi Disah. Wadi Al Disah is a mountainous area located in the southwest Province of Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. With crystal-clear streams, flowing springs, lush patches of green and towering palm trees, it is one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the Kingdom.
We reached Wadi Disah late in the evening and as we got closer to the Wadi, it started raining more and more. So we camped outside the Wadi. Next morning, we were stopped at the entrance of the Wadi. Police weren't letting any tourists into the Wadi as there was a possibility of a flash flood. Though the cars were not allowed to enter the Wadi, we could send the drone in. It was still raining and tourists were asked to check after 1 pm.
Then we remembered about a place where there might be a waterfall after the rains. We explored it. In the afternoon, it was announced that the Wadi will not be opening that day. We didn't want to give up on it. Instead of returning home, we camped outside for one more day and next morning headed towards the Wadi. Check out the video to see if we were lucky this time to enter the majestic Wadi!

وصلنا إلى وادي ديسة في وقت متأخر من المساء ، ومع اقترابنا من الوادي ، بدأت السماء تمطر أكثر فأكثر. لذلك خيمنا خارج الوادي. في صباح اليوم التالي تم إيقافنا عند مدخل الوادي. لم تسمح الشرطة لأي سائح بالدخول إلى الوادي حيث كان هناك احتمال لفيضان مفاجئ. على الرغم من عدم السماح للسيارات بدخول الوادي ، يمكننا إرسال الطائرة بدون طيار. كانت السماء لا تزال تمطر وطُلب من السياح التحقق بعد الساعة 1 ظهرًا.
ثم تذكرنا مكانًا قد يكون فيه شلال بعد هطول الأمطار. اكتشفناها. في فترة ما بعد الظهر ، أُعلن أن الوادي لن يفتح في ذلك اليوم. لا نريد التخلي عنها. بدلاً من العودة إلى المنزل ، خيمنا في الخارج ليوم آخر وفي الصباح التالي توجهنا نحو الوادي. شاهد الفيديو لترى ما إذا كنا محظوظين هذه المرة بدخول الوادي المهيب!

Off Roading through Saudi Arabia's Wadi Al Disah - وادي ديسه
We took the road less traveled and made our way THROUGH Wadi Al Disah. The path isn't too hard - it's just deep sand tracks, but it's definitely worth the effort! How often do you get a chance to 4x4 next to camels???

Amazing Views of Wadi Al Disah in Saudi Arabia ????????
The Grand Canyon of Saudi Arabia! That's just a few of the ways that Wadi Al-Disah has been described in recent years. Al Disah is a huge mountainous region in the south west area of the Tabuk region of north west Saudi Arabia. It is conveniently located 3 hours drive from both Tabuk regional airport and the increasingly popular tourist area of AlUla in the Al-Madinah region.
Local guides are available at the entrance fully equipped with the necessary horse power and ground clearance to traverse the wet and rugged landscapes of the Wadi.

Wadi Al Disah # places to visit in Saudi Arabia # saudi tourism
Al Disah is a great tourist place in Tabuk province. The place is full of mountains and is a best place for Trekking and camping.
Things to remember while visiting this place :
only 4x4 cars can go deep inside the valley's.
Its almost 200 kms away from the highway, so pls refuel you cars and take water and snacks with you.
Download offline maps as no mobile coverage in most of the places.

Join us on our trip to Wadi Disah, Saudi Arabia. It's about 200 kilometers south of Tabuk city, and 400 meters above sea level. It's mainly located in the Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Nature Reserve.
As seen in our last episode, we were denied entry into the Wadi due to heavy rain. The next day, we were lucky enough to drive through the majestic Wadi. The word Al Disah means a valley of palm trees, and when you arrive here you’ll see exactly why. The luscious valley floor is surrounded by massive sandstone cliffs and pillars that are perfect for exploration. Be sure to stick around for sunset, as the light on the sandstone cliffs looks amazing. The best time to visit Al Disah is in the winter and after rain. Hope you enjoy the video as much as did while crossing it.

كما رأينا في حلقتنا الأخيرة ، مُنعنا من دخول الوادي بسبب الأمطار الغزيرة. في اليوم التالي ، كنا محظوظين بما يكفي للقيادة عبر الوادي المهيب. كلمة الديسة تعني وادي من أشجار النخيل ، وعندما تصل إلى هنا ستعرف السبب بالضبط. إن أرضية الوادي الفاتنة محاطة بمنحدرات وأعمدة ضخمة من الحجر الرملي والتي تعتبر مثالية للاستكشاف. احرص على البقاء عند غروب الشمس ، حيث يبدو الضوء على منحدرات الحجر الرملي رائعًا. أفضل وقت لزيارة الديسة هو في الشتاء وبعد هطول الأمطار. آمل أن تستمتع بالفيديو بقدر ما استمتعت به أثناء عبوره.
