Huge Iranian Food Tour!! INSANE KEBABS + Cherry Rice!! | Best Persian Food in Los Angeles!!

???????? Iranian Street Food Tour:
???? SUBSCRIBE: Don’t miss new food videos!

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - Los Angeles is home to a large Iranian community in a variety of different areas of the city. Today, we’re taking you on an ultimate and unforgettable Iranian (and Persian) food tour in LA, and I can’t wait to share all the delicious food with you now!

Huge thank you to Nia & Sahra, who are both originally from Iran, now living in LA for joining me on this epic day of Iranian food. Follow their food adventures here:

Here are the places we ate at in this LA food tour:

Attari Sandwich Shop ( - We started off this Persian food tour in Tehrangeles, one of the first Iranian communities in LA. One of the most legendary restaurants is Attari Sandwich Shop, where along with many dishes, they are famous for their lamb tongue and brain sandwich. It’s so good!

Saffron & Rose Ice Cream ( - Across the street you’ll find Saffron & Rose Ice Cream for fantastic Persian ice cream and Shirazi style falooda.

Raffi's Place ( - If there’s one Persian restaurant in LA, or in all of the United States that you must try, it has to be Raffi's Place. We had the honor to meet Mr. and Mrs. Raffi, they showed us around their amazing restaurants and we ate lunch with them. They have a hugely inspirational story of how Raffi's Place became one of the greatest Persian restaurants in LA, and the food is outstanding. Don’t miss all the different kebabs and varieties of rice.

Nersses Vanak Restaurant ( - Finally to complete this ultimate day of Iranian food in Los Angeles, we went to Nersses Vanak Restaurant, a relaxed, and again family run Iranian restaurant. Along with a full menu of kebabs and stews, one of the main dishes to eat is their legendary dizi - a stew of lamb, beans, and potatoes, cooked down until fall apart tender - it’s a favorite dish of Iran for me. Their lamb shank is also pilgrimage worthy.

And that completes an amazing day of eating some of the best Iranian food in Los Angeles - in the United States!

Ultimate PERSIAN FOOD TOUR!! Endless IRANIAN FOOD in Tehran, Iran!!

????????KOOTOOK TRAVEL:
????????MR. TASTER:
⚽️BUY IRAN JERSEYS:

My time in Tehran, Iran continued with an all-out food tour of the capital. Join me as I go on the ultimate Persian food tour of Tehran, Iran!

My buddy Mr. Taster was taking me on an incredible lunch tour with our friends from Kootook Travel. We’d be having lamb shanks, shish kebabs, and so much more! I couldn’t wait!

????SUBSCRIBE TO MY NEWSLETTER:
???? MY TRAVEL BLOG:

Inside our first restaurant, it was like a fancy banquet hall. They say they have the best lamb shank around! Then, as is traditional, they brought us some Iranian tea and sweets!

In the kitchen, we watch ed them grill the lamb shanks, lamb chops, and loghmeh, a type of traditional Iranian kebab made from lamb. It’s bigger than kubideh! They were also grilling tomatoes. The meat looked so juicy!

The lamb shanks were cooking in their own fat, and looked unreal! Upstairs, they have a luxurious dining hall with opulent walls, tables, and chairs, but we’d be eating downstairs with everyone else!

We had everything with rice with barberries and saffron. Mr. Taster broke open an egg and poured out the egg whites. Then, he poured the yolk in started with the rice!

The rice was unbelievable, while the lamb chops blew my mind. The combination of the two was unreal! I loved the way the egg glued the rice together, and the rice was so tender and juicy.

With the rice, the loghmeh was also incredible. The tahchin had a crispy layer on top, and the saffron flavor was excellent! The lamb shank was huge and so juicy and fatty, it literally melted as I chewed it!

It also had a sweetness to it, and the marrow inside the bone was so tasty. The combination of meat, rice, and caramelized onions was a winner!

Then, we left and drove 20 minutes to our second restaurant, which almost reminded me of a Greek tavern. It had lots of beautiful painting on the walls. We watched them cook a stew called dizi with tomatoes, lamb, chickpeas, and bean in tiny pots. It slow cooks for 4 hours!

Our Shirazi salad contained tomatoes, cucumber, onions, and mint. Then, they brought the dizi. They take the lamb fat into your bowl and mash it.

Then, they mash the beans, chickpeas, meat, and potatoes into a puree. I tried mixing it myself with the pestle. It smelled amazing! Then, you crumble your sangak bread into it and add the broth!

We also had greens, onions, pickled onions, pickled chilies, and more to eat with it. I loved the fatty dizi with the greens and sangak bread. Adding pickled chilies made it spicy but gave it an amazing flavor. I also liked it with pickled onion, which was potent!

Next, I tried a yogurt drink called doogh, which was sour and a bit thin. Next, I ate the mash with the sangak. They sprinkled cinnamon on top, which was amazing!

We followed it with Persian tea and bamieh, a traditional sweet that’s basically a small, crispy ball of dough soaked in sugar syrup.

Our final stop was Sahand Restaurant, where we watched them make kebabs and chicken marinated in saffron. The kebabs were made of chopped beef topped with a layer of minced lamb, put in the cage, topped with onion juice, and grilled.

They also made a koobideh polow, a dish made of rice, chunks of koobideh, grilled tomatoes, sumac, and butter all mixed together. Once everything is added to the pan, you cover it and shake it up to mix it! The also added chilies and then made a cherry polow with lamb neck!

The cherry polow was juicy and tart, and I loved the meatiness. Next was the koobideh polow, which was the tastiest, meatiest polow ever! It was also super moist from the butter and tomatoes!

Finally, we finished with the kebab and some butter rice, tomato, and chili! I loved the smokiness, the butteriness. It was astounding!

Undiscovered IRANIAN STREET FOOD Tour!! | Ancient Bazaar of Tabriz, Iran!

????Street Food in Rasht, Iran:
????T-shirts and caps:

TABRIZ, IRAN - One of my favorite cities we visited during our trip to Iran, was Tabriz, located in Northern Iran. The food, people, culture, and ancient bazaar were all the highlights. In this video, we take you on a Iranian street food tour of the ancient bazaar of Tabriz. #Iran #Tabriz #streetfood

Bazaar of Tabriz - A UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East, it’s also one of the best preserved and most authentic. What was amazing to me is how it’s still in full functioning use, still used in much of the same exact way as its been used for hundreds of years. There are sections of the bazaar for everything - from spices and food, clothes and woodwork. But one of the most fascinating parts of the bazaar is the carpets bazaar, where you’ll find some of the best hand made Persian carpets in the world. Tabriz is known around the world for its exquisite carpet making.

Tabriz Central Mosque - Bazaar of Tabriz - In addition to the amazing Iranian food, we also visited the Tabriz Central Mosque.

Haj Ali Kebab - One of the most famous and best restaurants in Tabriz is Haj Ali Kebab, where you’ll find some of the best kebabs in Tabriz. The kebabs were so incredibly juicy, especially with Persian style butter rice, and some roasted tomatoes and sumac. It was a wonderful lunch within the ancient bazaar.

Shazdeh Restaurant - Along with plenty of street food snacks, our final Iranian food meal at the bazaar was at Shazdeh Restaurant, and one dish you can’t miss are the kufta Tabrizi, one of the ultimate dishes of Tabriz.

It was an amazing day, and a throwback in time, learning about and discovering the ancient bazaar of Tabriz, Iran!

Thank you to Ghasr Setareh ( for arranging our trip to Iran.

Ultimate Iran food tour in Dubai with @TheMrtaster and @thefoodranger!
???? Huge Food Tour in Dubai:
???? SUBSCRIBE: Don’t miss new food videos!

DUBAI, UAE - Welcome to Dubai, home to people from around the world and a major population of Persians from Iran. Today MrTaster is taking us on an ultimate Iranian food tour in Dubai. We’re going to eat at 8 spots, everything from Iranian breakfast ash to kebabs to faloodeh to golden koobideh. Get ready for the ultimate single day of Iranian food in Dubai!

Here are all the places we ate in this video:

1. Bandar Bride Special Kabab Restaurant ( - To begin this food tour we started with a classic Iranian breakfast, ash, a meaty porridge that’s the perfect way to get your morning started. We also had a Persian omelet and some tea.

2. Jafer Biman Ali Cafateria ( - Next up we headed to the old souk to have faloodeh, one of the great sweets of Iran, and some cups of lemonade.

3. Walid Mohammad Bakhit Bakery ( - One of the most well known street foods in Dubai is regag bread and this Iranian bakery is one of the oldest in Dubai. Regag bread is similar to a crepe, very thin, and topped with a variety of things like anchovy fish sauce, egg, and cheese.

4. Yashar Palace Restaurant ( - Next up we went to a pretty fancy restaurant called Yashar Palace Restaurant. Their bread was freshly baked and outstanding and what we really came for was the lamb heads. All the different parts were delicious and melt in your mouth.

5. Shiraz Nights ( - Next on this ultimate Iranian food tour in Dubai we went to Shiraz Nights to eat some of my favorite dishes including dizi, a stew of beans and lamb mashed down, and tahdig, the crunchy bottom of saffron rice. We also had gormeh sabzi a vegetable and beans stew that’s one of my favorite dishes of Iran.

6. Cando Restaurant ( - Without a doubt this was one of the best bites of the entire food tour, the lamb neck braised in its own fat at Cando Restaurant. The lamb neck along with onions and garlic was life changing.

7. Sofreh Kitchen & Grill ( - You can’t have an Iranian food tour without having kebabs and so next up we drove over to Sofreh Kitchen & Grill for a massive kebabs feast. Absolutely delicious, their koobideh was the highlight here, incredibly fragrant and juicy.

8. Enigma ( - Finally to complete this amazing Iranian food tour in Dubai we went to Enigma at the Versace hotel, one of the most luxurious Persian restaurants in the world. They are known for their food shows and serving so many dishes with gold. My first time eating golden koobideh! The shows were pretty funny and entertaining.

And that completes again, what was the ultimate Persian food tour in one single day in Dubai. We ate from 7 am - 11 pm, a 16 hour food tour!

Thank you again to @TheMrtaster and @thefoodranger for an amazing day!

Ultimate PERSIAN FOOD TOUR at Two of The Best Iranian Restaurants in Bahrain

► World Amazing Mozzarella Cheese Production Line in a Traditional Factory, Italy

Greetings, everyone! I'm Mr. Taster in Bahrain, a mesmerizing country with extraordinary people. Today, we are embarking on a tour of Iranian cuisine, exploring two exceptional restaurants, Homa and Banu.

Let's start with Banu Restaurant, a gorgeous Iranian restaurant offering unparalleled Iranian dishes. Here, your taste buds can revel in every Iranian delicacy imaginable. Our appetizers included the delectable Mirza Ghasemi, the flavorful Borani Bademjan, and the refreshing Shirazi Salad. The harmonious blend of Mirza Ghasemi with warm bread and exceptional doogh was nothing short of delightful.
For the main course, they offer a diverse range of Iranian stews, including Ghormeh Sabzi, Bamieh (okra) stew, Bademjan (eggplant) stew and Gheimeh stew with fries, as well as various kebabs like Koobideh, Lamb chops, Chicken Kebab, Barg kebab, and Negini Kebab—all of which were outstanding.

Our next stop is the remarkable Iranian restaurant, Homa, located in Janabiyah. Having visited two years ago, it remains an extraordinary venue with a beautiful interior and spacious outdoor area, boasting an unparalleled view.
At Homa, I indulged in a variety of seafood dishes, including Sabzi Polo (herb rice) with fresh Sea Bass and a special sauce, and Ghalieh Mahi (fish) with a spicy and sour kick. Baghali Polo (fava bean rice) with lamb shank and bone marrow broth provides an exceptional culinary experience.
For dessert, Homa treated us to Faloodeh, creme caramel, and traditional ice cream, each showcasing exceptional quality and delightful flavors.

In all honesty, the experience of Iranian cuisine here was truly extraordinary. If you find yourself in Bahrain and crave authentic Iranian food, my top recommendations are Banu and Homa restaurants.
I sincerely hope you enjoy the video, and I eagerly await your thoughts and comments. Thank you for joining me on this flavorful adventure through Bahrain's Iranian culinary treasures!

Persian KINGS of Minced Lamb!! ????SHOCKING IRANIAN FOOD in Isfahan, Iran!! ????????

ISFAHAN, IRAN - Isfahan is a special city in Iran, one of the most powerful and one of the most influential cities throughout Persian history - that’s why they call it half the world. I was excited to visit Isfahan, and go on an ultimate Iraninan food tour! #Isfahan #Iran #IranianFood

Azadegan Tea House - Chah Haj Mirza - We began in the evening in Isfahan by going to a legendary tea house, and probably one of the world’s most decorated tea houses. It’s fascinating to walk around, look at all the antiques and memorabilia. The food, is also noteworthy and delicious. We had the Kashke Bademjan - Persian eggplant dip, and Dizi - Lamb and chickpeas stew.

Khoresht Mast - Yogurt, lamb, saffron - This was the most shocking Iranian food in Isfahan - lamb and sweet yogurt? Yes, in Isfahan, people are passionate about a dessert made with lamb! And somehow it just works.

Naqsh-e Jahan Square - Isfahan, Iran - When you visit Isfahan, to get a true feel of the center of the city, you have to visit Naqsh-e Jahan Square, a massive public square with a number of important historical mosques and monuments. It’s spectacular.

Haj Mahmoud Beryani - Restaurant, Isfahan Bazaar - This was one of my favorite meals in all of Iran, for a dish called beryan - Minced lamb, mint, saffron. For lamb lovers, it does not get better than this.

Gaz - Persian Nougat - Next we visited a gaz factory, a Persian sweet that’s famously made in Isfahan. It was interesting to see the process, and taste it too.

Hafez Golha - Milk pudding - Next we stopped at Hafez Golha for his hand made milk pudding. It’s simple and delicious and a great dessert for an evening in Isfahan, Iran.

Khaju Bridge - Historical Bridge - And finally we ended this incredible Iranian food tour and attractions tour at Khaju Bridge where locals gather to sing songs under the historical bridges.

Isfahan is a fascinating city, with such a rich culture, history, and unique delicious food. Thank you for watching.

Thank you to Ghasr Setareh ( for arranging our trip to Iran.

????T-shirts and caps:

SHIRAZ, IRAN - Shiraz is one of the most beautiful cities in all of Iran, and once you get there you will immediately know why. The architecture, ancient history, the kindness of the people, and the delicious Iranian food, all contribute to making it such a special city. In this ultimate Iranian food tour of Shiraz, we will eat the most iconic foods of Shiraz, from street food to faloodeh, to home cooking!

Breakfast in Shiraz - Ash Sabzi, which is a porridge of lamb, beans, and tarragon, is a staple of Iranian breakfast, and the best of the best is in Shiraz. It’s a special dish, it’s filling, and it’s incredibly tasty. We went to the right place, it was packed and they sell about 1000 kilos of ash sabzi per day. We also tried their haleem - Porridge of lamb and wheat - that was different from any other versions I’ve ever had. Delicious way to begin this food tour.

Nasir-ol-molk Mosque - The Pink Mosque - One of the most magnificent sights in Shiraz is the Nasir-ol-molk Mosque, also known as the Pink Mosque. The decorations, mosaics, and light, will make you stand in awe.

Jamshidian Lemon Juice, Shiraz, Iran - Shirazi Faloodeh - Persian dessert since 400 BC! There’s no way you can go to Shiraz and miss out on Shirazi faloodeh, a dessert that’s popular now around the world, but started in Shiraz. And we tried an original version.

Tomb of Hafez - Shiraz, Iran - Next up on this ultimate tour of Shiraz, Iran, we visited the Tomb of Hafez, a famous poet. The traditional Persian gardens are spectacular.

Parhami Traditional House ( - This was a real treat of a meal - a home cooked traditional Shiraz food meal at Parhami Traditional House. The food and hospitality were on the next level. Here are some of the main dishes we tried:
Kalam Polo Shirazi - Persian cabbage rice
Ghormeh Sabzi - Persian herb stew
Ghanbar Polo - Rice, meatballs, nuts and dried fruit
Koofteh Sabzi Shirazi - Herb and vegetable balls

Thank you to everyone who made this day so special, and to everyone we met in Shiraz, Iran!

Anthony Bourdains FAVORITE CAFE in IRAN! Iranian Street Food & Bazaar Tour in Isfahan!!

????????KOOTOOK TRAVEL:
????????MR. TASTER:
⚽️BUY IRAN JERSEYS:

As I continued traveling south through Iran, my road trip took me to the incredible city of Isfahan. Join me as I explore Isfahan and have Iranian street food in an amazing local bazaar!

Isfahan is considered by many to be the most beautiful city in Iran. It was also the capital of the Persian Empire! The city really flourished between the 9th and 18th centuries!

????SUBSCRIBE TO MY NEWSLETTER:
???? MY TRAVEL BLOG:

My friend Mr. Taster and I would be heading to Azadegan Teahouse in Haj Mirza Alley for some food, but we’d be starting our tour of the city at the Grand Mosque, or Friday Mosque, which dates back to the early 17th century.

The mosque is massive and beautiful and has some of the biggest domes in the world! The blues and yellows reminded me a lot of the colors and architecture I saw in Bukhara and Samarkand in Uzbekistan. The mosque has four knaves, or entrances. This type of architecture first came about in the 11th century. Only one of them had minarets—two of them.

The knaves are places for people to congregate. Between the columns, colors, and architecture, they’re absolutely stunning!

Then, we we left and headed to the Grand Bazaar nearby. I could see vendors selling gorgeous and intricate Persian carpets and table runners. The gentleman in the shop gave me a wonderful gift for free!

Further on, we found more table runners and pillow covers. I watched him make a design on one of them. He placed a large stamp in some ink and had to be very precise when stamping the cloth!

The quality of the table runners was so high. I loved them. I decided to take one home with me! I loved the bright colors and bought it for $90 USD, but he gave me a 10% discount!

Next, we found a ship selling shisha bubblers. I also saw copper cups and tools for drinking and making coffee, as well as small, decorative boxes.

Then, I saw some incredible copper plates made by an artisan. It takes him a day to tap out the designs on the plates. I also bought some earrings, two necklaces, and a bracelet. They’re all handmade. The craftsmanship was unbelievable!

Next, we visited a shop where they had an entire vase full of saffron. They gave me some saffron for free as a gift! In another shop, I saw a cute jewelry box. The man who makes them is so talented, his work has been featured in a museum in Los Angeles!

Along the way, I stopped by a vendor selling Iran soccer jerseys. I’d never seen a bazaar with so many craft vendors! There was another doing incredible tile work, paintings, and more. I bought some horoscope tiles for myself and family before visiting a shop called Tooba Gem Gallery selling gemstones.

The man gifted me a turquoise ring. It was so beautiful. Their kindness made me want to cry!

From there, we arrived at Azadegan Teahouse. It’s a narrow teahouse that’s famous because its walls and ceiling are covered in paintings, and and antiques! After I entered, a group of local women invited me over to teach me some Farsi!

We started with a salty and minty yogurt drink called doogh and a crispy, syrupy sweet called gooshfil. The sweetness and sourness worked together well! The gooshfil reminded me of jalebi!

Then, they brought out eggplant, lavash, pickled veg, curd, spinach, lemon, crispy onions, and more. You put the curd on the eggplant and eat it with the eggplant. It was amazing! It was a delicious roasted eggplant sandwich!

Finally, we finished with some amazing saffron tea!

Where have you been?
