Discrimination against Jews and Christians in Jerusalem (Ascending the Temple Mount)

Jews, Christians and basically any people who are not Muslims are being discriminated against in Jerusalem and yet nobody is talking about it.
Everything I’m going to say in this video is as clear as day but, as so often happens, the big stories are right in front of us but everybody chooses to look the other way.
Today we’re not going to look the other way. Today we’re going to look directly at the sad reality of the Temple Mount.

Eye-Opening Experience visiting Western Wall and JESUS TOMB in OLD Jerusalem Israel

Join me on an eye-opening journey as we visit the Western Wall and the Tomb of Jesus in Old Jerusalem, Israel. The Western Wall, also known as the Wailing Wall, is a sacred site for Jews and a place of prayer and reflection. As we approach the wall, the energy and emotion of the place is palpable.

Next, we visit the Tomb of Jesus, also known as the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. This site is believed to be the location of Jesus' crucifixion, burial, and resurrection. The atmosphere inside the church is peaceful and contemplative, and the historical significance of the place is truly awe-inspiring.

Throughout our visit, we learn about the rich history and culture of Old Jerusalem and how it plays a central role in the three major Abrahamic religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. This experience has truly been an eye-opening one, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Don't forget to like, comment and subscribe to our channel!

Journey Through Israel - Travel Documentary

Israel means a lot of different things to many people, and is one of the most diverse and dynamic countries in the world. Even though it’s often associated with political unrest and conflict, it’s also a beautiful place to travel to, with spectacular natural beauty, lively cities, ancient historic sites, incredible cuisine, and friendly, welcoming people.

On this journey, I’m traveling through the Holy Land, a region important to the three main monotheistic religions, and what is known today as Israel and Palestine.

In this episode, I’m exploring Israel, a country that was established in 1948, but is located in a region that has been at the crossroads of religions and cultures for many centuries. From the beautiful beaches and dynamic streets of modern Tel Aviv, to the religious landmarks and atmospheric alleys of the Old City of Jerusalem. From the salty water of the Dead Sea to the surreal desert landscapes of the Negev. Along the way, I meet some of the people that live here, and taste some of the local food.

I’ll do so from a traveler’s perspective, focusing on the positive stories and things to do. But here and there I also mention the conflict between Israel and Palestine, since it has impacted the lives of many people in the region. For those interested in the politics and modern history of the region, however, I recommend to read, watch, and listen to as many different sources as you can.

This is my first long trip after the pandemic started, and I’m grateful for the chance to travel again. It’s also my second visit to the region, and therefore I use both new and older footage for this video.

Here’s a brief overview of the content in this video:

We begin this journey in Tel Aviv, Israel’s ‘beach city’. But it’s much more than that, it’s also an economic powerhouse and vibrant cultural center, known for its liberal and cosmopolitan attitude. The next stop is Caesarea, an interesting place for people who are interested in history. This ancient port city was an important place during Roman times, and was only recently excavated by archaeologists. Not far from here is Haifa, known particularly for its beautiful Bahai’s gardens.

I continue my travels in Akko, a stunning fortified city on the Mediterranean coast. Its winding alleys are a joy to get lost in, and it’s also worth discovering the underground tunnels. Driving onwards, I travel to the Golan Heights, an area popular for outdoor activities, with beautiful mountain landscapes and national parks. It’s also a contested place, as the Golan was captured by Israel from Syria, after Six Day War. As you travel in this region, you come across many reminders of the war.

Nazareth is one of Christianity’s holiest places, and the place where Jesus is said to have lived for many years. The Basilica of the Annunciation is the absolute highlight for many visitors, and the city is an important place for religious tourism. Also interesting is Nazareth Village, where you can imagine life during the time of Jesus.

Few places evoke so much imagination as Jerusalem, one of the world’s oldest cities, and holy to Jews, Muslims, and Christians. Walking (into) the Old City can be a magical experience, and to many visitors feels like entering a different world, and era. While Jerusalem is a spiritual and historic center, it’s also a dynamic city, where traditional lifestyles blend with cosmopolitan ideas.

We continue our journey in the Negev, a vast region in the South of Israel, comprising of arid mountains and surreal desert landscapes. Here, I visit a number of beautiful nature reserves, and also briefly visit a kibbutz. At the Southern tip of the Negev is Eilat, a popular holiday destination for Israeli families, but also a good place to go diving or snorkeling, as it’s located on the Red Sea.

I end the trip on the Dead Sea, known for its high salt levels, where people actually stay afloat. The high concentration of minerals is also said to have healing powers for people with certain skin problems. It’s not all good news though, as the Dead Sea’s water levels are receding at immense speed, mostly due to human activity, such as extraction for industrial purposes, and climate change.

GOLDEN GATE JERUSALEM - Why and when was the Golden Gate in Jerusalem sealed?

GOLDEN GATE JERUSALEM - Why is the Golden Gate in Jerusalem closed and when was sealed?

Why is the Golden Gate in Jerusalem closed?
When was the Golden Gate in Jerusalem sealed?
What is the Golden Gate in Jerusalem?
Who was Suleiman the Magnificent?
These and more questions will be answered on this video!

The GOLDEN GATE in JERUSALEM ISRAEL is one of eight gates that still stand on the Old City walls of JERUSALEM today. Suleiman the Magnificent sealed it in 1541. In Hebrew this gate is known as Sha'ar HaRachamim, which means the Gate of Mercy. JEWS believe that this will be the gate that the Messiah will come through. CHRISTIANS believe that JESUS came through this gate into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, and He will return one day through this gate.

From Jericho to Jerusalem in Two Days [Unseen Footage]

There's an ancient road that goes from Jericho to Jerusalem, the road that is mentioned in the gospels in the parable told by Jesus about the Good Samaritan. We walked this road three years ago, however, in the original video we have not shown you what really happened to us and the dangers of this road. In this video, we revisit our hike and show you footage we've never shown before.

Watch the original video here:

HARASSED in Petra (The side of Petra they don’t show you) البتراء الاردن ????????

My first day in Petra was an eye-opener, and whilst Jordan is full of kind and friendly people, there are a lot of scammers and salesmen that prey on tourists at this world wonder.

I was harassed in Petra as soon as I went through the first turnstile, and in this video is a side of Petra that they don’t show you.

Watch as I head from the entrance to the Petra archaeological site to the iconic Treasury building, and meet some interesting characters along the way.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF JERUSALEM OLD CITY???????? LIFE INSIDE MUSLIM & JEWISH QUARTERS | PAKISTANI IN ISRAEL

Welcome to our channel! We are Immy and Tani (full-time travel family) and today we share our first impressions of the old city of Jerusalem. This is located in Israel/Palestine and we are so excited to finally visit this special place as it was one of our top bucket list destinations. The core of Jerusalem, the Old City, has a history that stretches back more than 3,000 years. The present street plan dates largely from Byzantine times, with the walls and ramparts dating back to the 16th century. The crossroad of three continents, Jerusalem has been one of the most fought over cities in human history. Within the walls, the Old City is divided into four vaguely defined quarters: Christian, Armenian, Jewish and Muslim. In this vlog we will be exploring the life inside the walls of the old city of Jerusalem so do watch till the end and as always - GIVE OUR VIDEO A LIKE!

A little insight in to Jerusalem:
The Old City of Jerusalem (Hebrew: העיר העתיקה, Ha'Ir Ha'Atiqah, Arabic: البلدة القديمة, al-Balda al-Qadimah) is that part of Jerusalem surrounded by the impressive 16th-century Ottoman city walls and representing the heart of the city both historically and spiritually. In a city already divided, the Old City is further divided culturally and historically into four residential Quarters: (clockwise from the southeast) the Jewish, Armenian, Christian, and Muslim Quarters. A fifth area, the Haram esh-Sharif, contains the Dome of the Rock, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and other Muslim religious sites, and was once the site of the Jewish Temple. The whole Old City is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Golden Gate - Jerusalem

The Gate of Mercy is the only gate of the Temple Mount located in the eastern wall. It is a large and complex structure built into the area of the Temple Mount. Our focus today will be on the gate facing outside the old city. Regarding the side facing the Temple Mount, there is a series of videos on the gates surrounding the Temple Mount.
As for the name of the gate - the different religions have different names: the Jews called the two arches together - the Gate of Mercy. According to Jewish tradition, the Messiah will enter Jerusalem through this gate. 10th-century Arab historians, called the gate by 2 names, a name for each arch: the southern gate is called the Gate of Mercy & the northern gate is called the Gate of Repentance. The Christian name it, the Golden Gate. According to Christian traditions, Heraclius, the Byzantine emperor between 610 and 641, made a pilgrimage to Jerusalem in 631 and entered barefoot through the Gate of Mercy, just like the entry of Jesus, & returned the cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
